I hate leaving negative reviews for businesses but seeing as they will not address my issue after contacting them directly multiple times, I figured this is unfortunately the only way anything might be done. Sorry this is long... I went in with the intention of getting one syringe of Juvederm in my lips which I have had done twice in the past. They essentially told me Juvederm is a waste of money and that it will create scar tissue in my lips and then I won't be able to get it done anymore ( no other professional has ever told me this). They then told me I should do Belafill because it's permanent and essentially the same but better and it will be more worth my money. They told me about a special they had going for 2 syringes of Belafill at a discounted rate. Seeing as I had now been told many negative things about Juvederm and only positive about Belafill and was being pressured by medical professionals- (FYI doctors should never pressure you to buy permanent filler because that's crazy)-I got the deal and purchased 2 syringes. They injected one syringe of Belafill that day and saved the other for my later use. After my lips healed they are incredibly lumpy and I am very freaked out by the fact that I have something permanent in my lips that cannot be removed. I called them to be refunded for the UNUSED syringe that I paid for as I no longer wish to get that injected, and they refused saying I have to come into the office for a post-op appointment. I told them I am uncomfortable seeing the same people that lied to me and pressured me and just want to be refunded for the unused syringe as I'd no longer like to continue business with them. They refused again but after many calls they agreed only if I sign something they mail to me. I had to call twice to get them to actually mail it. I received it and mailed it back and weeks later they claim they have never received it- their office is in Burien and I live in Seattle so it should have arrived in 2 days. They have been rude and difficult and this process of negotiation via email and phone has been dragging on for a couple months now since the person I need to speak to is mysteriously always unavailable to speak. If I am not refunded I will seek legal assistance and report them to the BBB, but for now I will share my experience so that I might prevent others from being exploited and stolen from.
