So far I have only completed the consultation - I am currently booking my procedure to occur later this year. Dr. Rand was very helpful in explaining the whole process and making me feel comfortable with knowing the risks and expectations through the recovery phase. I am very excited to move forward with the surgery and the new me!

Surgery is booked!

So excited that my surgery is booked for September 24th!
I’m also feeling the nerves as well!

I have wanted a BA surgery for such a long time, and finally feel confident enough and that the timing is right to finally pull the trigger. I put my before photo and a pic of wish boobs to this review as well.

I’ve been on realself kind of scouring through reading through others’ experiences with healing etc. and it has eased some nerves but also has created some new concerns I never thought about! So definitely feeling antsy

I have about 2.5 months until my surgery and I’m about to go full force to tone up before the operation since I’ll have to halt exercising for at least about six weeks.

Will post reviews through tia whole process, Next step is the consultation week before surgery

Eek! Stay tuned

Before pic and 10 week countdown

Seeing as I’ll be wearing a sport bra for a bit after surgery, thought I should post a before pic with one! My stats are 5’4 135 lbs
My goal is to tone up and lose fat before my surgery as ill probably be pretty sedentary (and because I want to look my absolute best once I get my new boobies!)
10 weeks couldn’t come any sooner ????

Congrats on moving forward! Dr. Rand just completed my breast augmentation on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to seeing how they drop/fluff into place!

Having just gone through surgery w/Dr. Rand. I can absolutely recommend him as a great PS. I had an excellent experience with the whole surgery process and am now in recovery. Let me just caution you that everyone's recovery process is different. I have had a very painful recovery and prior to surgery I thought I'd be able to return to work sooner than I have. Luckily my boss is letting me work from home this week (which is SAVING me) but I highly recommend that you plan on being down for the count for two weeks post surgery. I am really mobile now (7 days post op) but I get tired easily and my boobs HURT. Also, I really recommend that you prepare for any mental stress post surgery. I had no idea that post surgical depression is something I would deal with and it certainly has been a struggle for me. I don't want to scare you off from the procedure but it is a big deal and I didn't realize how much it could affect me before I went into it. :) I think just knowing this stuff ahead of time can help A LOT in the recovery. ALSO get a pregnancy pillow, that thing has saved my life. I found one for $30 on Amazon.

This is so good to know! Gah I hope just the 7 days will work for me. Are you still on pain meds? I’ll definitely get that pillow! I’ve read in other reviews about depression after surgery, so I’m glad you brought that up so I can mentally prepare How are the twins over all look for you, good I’m assuming!

So for pain meds, I had to stop the valium and percocet 2 days after surgery. I became EXTREMELY emotional, depressed and thought I was losing my mind. I wrote to Dr. Rand and he said they should only be used as needed for extreme pain. Well I think I was in extreme pain, but the cons of the meds outweighed the benefit. I am still in pain (day 7) but it's tolerable. I still get tired easily, I go on walks every day and I'm able to walk further each day without running out of breath. I would just say to be prepared to whine, [RS bleep] and moan in pain and realize that pain is beauty. haha! The price of being a woman. I would also recommend you have someone to help take care of you for the first 48 hours (minimum). I couldn't think straight or remember what I needed to do. Those meds are really serious and I really don't think I benefited from using them. As for the twins, they look like they're healing up really well. The left is still quite a bit larger and more swollen than the right and it hurts more. I am looking forward to my 2nd post op appointment tomorrow because I am a little concerned about the left one being so much bigger but I know these things take time so I may just need to be more patient. :)
