Last few years, I noticed my neck looking increasingly worse, with loose skin & increasingly worsening of jowls. FaceTite failed to improve any looseness of neck or chin. I then started to look at Bellafill as a long-term facial filler. Dr. And staff was friendly and Seemed knowledgeable. I said my jaw & neck bothered me most. I was Offered 5 syringes with 1 free. Dr. Said she cold build up my jaw, to help my neck.

First visit, She put about 3.5 syringes along the jaw line. I asked that the lines and around my mouth be filled too. The second visit, she continued to use my 2 remaining syringes, focusing on the jaw, only. I asked her to fill my marionette lines. Looking at my before, there is definite improvement to my jaw and neck. However, with 6 syringes for nearly $5,000 and looking at my after photos, it is clear to me, some filler to my cheeks and under eye areas should have been addressed too.

I was told Bellafill is too thick for above the lips and under eye. Yet, I have seen other Bellafill patients with improvement to their whole face with half the syringes that I received. My results to my jaw and neck is much improved but I do not think it's $5,000 worth of improvement. Plus, now I have to address the rest of my face, too. The Drs. Consultant suggests different, temporary fillers. I do not feel or want to spend more on work that should've been addressed the first time around.

I've been told by aestheticians and Drs. alike, that 6 syringes is a LOT.

What made you decide to go with Bellefill?

Bellafill. Oops! I understand it takes time to work? Is that correct?

I spent thousands on temporary fillers and wanted something longer lasting.

Correct, some say it's immediate but then the doctor said it can take up to 3 months. These pictures represent my final result. There's definite improvement but I think for the amount of vials I purchased, she should have also focused on the other areas, better and without me directing her to. If she's a professional, she should look at the face as a whole and know exactly what to do and how to inject. She was training another physician and while she was talking with him, I felt she was injecting me haphazardly. Now, thinking that for another $1,000-$2,000, I could've gotten a proper neck lift or a lower face lift. I have seen on the Bellafill website and other patients on RS, where they were able to do the whole face easily, with 6 vials, including the jowls/jaw. I went back to see the P/S last week but they always make you see their assistants. I said I still have areas of concern. Of course they just have more options, for more money, to offer and are pushy about getting you to do it, that day. I believe I told her at least, 4-5 times that I would not be having additional services or recommendations done, that day. These are recommendations, remember, are for the same face and issues that I consulted with them back in March for and I feel all areas should have been addressed at that time. Here I am looking for more solutions to the same problems. Per Ballafill, Under the eyes, the cheeks, better smooth marionette lines and lift the corners of my mouth, can be addressed. I have looked into these procedures and doctors, thoroughly before hand But always seem to be, on the short end of the stick.

Bellafill~8 months after & current pix

In hind sight, I now see that my 2nd set of pictures that I posted for my original after results, were the best results, to be had and did not last.
I initially saw much improvement from my before to after results of my jaw line and a little of my under chin area. For some reason the assistant, cut my chin off in the before and after pictures. I see on my 8 & 10 month, “after”, pictures that I have a lot of the same issues for which I sought out an opinion and fix for my recently and rapidly aging process. Then again, on My last update, I am not satisfied that my face and jaw were the Drs.ONLY focus (5.5 syringes). All of my face, jaw & neck, as a whole (with 6 syringes), from what I have seen and being told is more than plenty to address all these areas, including the makers of Bellafill. I have seen many pictures of great results from other doctors Before researching this product and after getting my less than mediocre results. As to why my results did not last, I have no idea.
Here is my 3rd update, showing my 8 month after treatment and a current picture, taken today, at 10 months post~treatment. I covered my lips in the 8 month picture because I had a botox “lip-flip” and the Dr. Did not use Bellafill use or address the upper lip, so I didn’t want to show improvement, were there was none, from the original Bellafill results. Between the FaceTite at Eterna, with Dr. Elizabeth and Dr. Ferimonte, with Alon Esthetics, I could’ve gotten a full facelift, including the neck with all the money I spent on these gimmicky Procedures from Sub par plastic surgeons. I always have issues posting pictures so hopefully it works.

Yep. I too rue the day I went down the path of no return buying expensive fillers that ALWAYS made me look one hundred times worse. Or paying outrageous prices for lasers that either did nothing at all or completely destroyed my skin. — That once again, made me look one hundred times worse.

Thank you for sharing. I’ve been trying to decide if Bellafill or Sculptra were good options. Sounds like Bellafill was not worth it. I’m canceling my appointment now.
