DO NOT inject any filler that has PMMA. Read up diligently on the growth of granulomas that result 5 or 6 years after injection. The nodules DO NOT go away with steroid or 5fu (chemo) injections. The granulomas look like major acne and are painful. The red, inflamed and contorted features on my face are the results of this product. I was a beautiful women that did Botox occasionally and was talked into paying for this horrible product.

I too beginning to have trouble from this product with granulomas. They developed within 5 months of having the injections.
This is scary...I was told u shouldnt put the filler in ur lips. Bellafill is most appropriate for deeper filling and contouring, and it is not recommended for use in areas of high movement, like the lips. An allergy test is required prior to Bellafill injections, which are not typically recommended to first-time filler patients. Ive had six syringes put in my lower cheek jawline to enhance my Jaw. Its been over 5 yrs and my lower face Dropped and it is filler I think. Ive used 3 syringes of Kybella to help dissolve the small fat globs. Im trying threading on my jawline to try and correct w/out surgery.

I have decided to write you. Your pictures look very much like mine. However, I won't take pictures and post them because I am too ashamed of how distorted my face still looks. My Artefill nodules were not inflamed like yours and were more like a large mass of concrete (nasolabial areas and above left lip). I did have 5fu treatments every 3 - 4 weeks for approximately 7 months. They worked! The shape of my chin returned and the nodules have decreased by approximately 50%. Unfortunately because of a divorce I had to move from Nevada to the Seattle area and my treatments stopped. If I don't find someone in the Seattle area to continue treatment I may have to figure out a financial way to return to Las Vegas to resume treatments. My treatments were administered by Dr Rueckl at Lakes Dermatology and Spa in Las Vegas. What I am trying to say is... don't give up! 5fu kills cells. It will work with lots of time and patience! I wish you luck.
