Am booked in to have surgery early next month, I feel like I have waited so long to get my floppy saggy boobies done, the only time they looked great was when I was pregnant or in a sports bra. I hope by seeing my doctor Eddy Dona and getting the girls uplifted this will make me feel more of a sexy yummy mummy and by getting the surgery done on Independence Day my new boobies will be new independence boobies.

Thanks for sharing your story with the community. What type of implants and lift will you be getting?

User Avatar

The implants will be round and silicon under the muscle which is great as i have good chest muscles and I will be getting a breast augment /ptosis. I went up to a 16f with my first child and unfortunately no amount of exercise is going to help them up again, so with a cruise booked for December and a goal of wearing a bikini that's why I'm getting them none in July.

That sounds like it will be a good fit for you. Yay for bikinis! Best of luck.

Hi fellow Aussie !
I'm over west in Perth and also getting a lift with implants on 6th july! I've heard of eddy as I did look into coming over east to get the surgery done as it's cheaper , but have found a great PS here for about the same price .
All very exciting isn't it ! Can't believe I will have completely need boobs in less than 2 weeks time !!

Hi,
I'm so glad I will have someone to go through it with even if you are in WA and I'm in NSW. What size are you getting? I'm getting 485cc round under the muscle.

390 anatomical under muscle
I hope the recovery is ok as I'm only taking 3 weeks off work . It's going to be hard not doing anything much though as I'm always on the go ! I just hope I am disciplined enough to take it steady !!

I know what you mean about being on the go I'm a gym junkie plus I have a toddler who is into everything typical boy and a 5 month old that loves to have cuddles. Not that I mind one bit. Hubby is taking a week off to look after me and the kids so it should be an interesting week to say the least, I'm glad that there is school holidays then so not much driving. And I'm taking a month off the gym so I will have to try to take things easy lol try to anyway.

Sounds like a good plan ! It's great your hubby is taking time off to help with the little ones .
My husbands taking a few days off but my kids are older so easier in that department for me . I'm taking a couple of months off classes , I only do yoga and body balance though so I might be able to do some gentle classes after a month I think . School holidays here too so pretty good timing !

16 days to go but hey who is counting ME. Am so very excited yet as with everything that you get your hopes up, you just hope they live up to your expectations and not get disappointed as you wonder if they will be too big or too small cause once its done there is no going back its not like getting a haircut where you can go back after 6 weeks and say hmm don't know if I like them after you have saved your butt off to get them!

New Boobies

User Avatar

I had my op on Monday morning, glad I got there early as it stopped me thinking about it too much, now I'm 3 days post op and I'm starting to feel better , the first night I was dosed up the panadine forte, endone, antibiotics and I also took some Valium to help me sleep through the pain, yesterday I stopped taking to the panadine forte as it started playing havoc with my tummy, so on to a high fibre diet I went and now everything is feeling normal. My chest is rather bruised so ive been taking arnica and vit c and drinking plenty of water and sleeping when I feel the need. I am also using bio oil after my shower on my new boobies, they are starting to itch so I'm guessing that I am healing well, they still don't feel real but they look great I am very happy with them.

Hey ! Glad things went ok and you're starting to feel better
Stick with the arnica and vitamin C and maybe get some vitamin B too which is also good for wound healing . I've just posted my post of update , off to see my PS later as he's going to take the dressings off !!! He said he got away with doing the vertical cut so that's made me one happy bunny !
Keep in touch and if you need to chat just private message me , we can support each other :)

Hi, I had a lolly pop lift, so I have abit of bruising at the sides of my boobs and down the middle of my cleavage but it is going, I head up to Sydney on Tuesday for my first post op appointment to get some smaller bandages put on, the ones I have on now are starting to itch. I'm also taking magnesium, vit e and q10 which all seems to be helping. I now want to sleep on my side as that's the way I normally sleep its slowly happening but I'm still pretty sore in the mornings when I wake up and still pretty tired during the day I suppose this is normal just still feel really drained.

Dr eddy dona is simply amazing he did mine. Make sure if you have any questions to email his rooms they helped me every step! I'm 8 months post op and mine don't feel "real" but it does take around 6 months for them to drop and fluff out so they will get softer and softer over time x.

You look great. What size implant did you end up going with? Under or over the muscle? It's so nice to see some Aussie ladies on here.

Mine is July 28th. I'm getting a full anchor lift with Natrelle implants behind the muscle. I was originally thinking like 450cc but am really thinking I may want to go larger. How's your recovery thus far?

How's your recovery? Starting to feel back to yourself?
User Avatar
July 19, 2016
I am slowly starting to feel like my old self, still really tired I don't know if that is because I'm still recovering or not going to the gym like I was before the op, its a good thing for coffee.
July 12, 2016
How are you doing ? How's the ' morning boob ' ?!!! :)

Yeah I'm feeling okay just had my post op check up and all is good, looks like I will end up being a DD to an E wow, have to start massaging just still pretty tired, glad all my appointments are included in the price next appointment in 2 weeks to get the last of the dressings off. 3 more weeks then back slowly to the gym feels weird not exercising.

Thanks me too am looking forward to summer so I can show them off, now I just have to work on my tummy :)
User Avatar

My tummy has never been great, and it's only gotten worse since surgery. I know some of that is bloating and some of it is lack of exercise cause of surgery, but I'm worried that I made my abdominal separation from kids worse from getting off the couch and out of bed the first few days. I was really pushing out my abs, which is a big no-no if you have a separation.

Post your progress if you want, maybe you can motivate me. :)
