42 Years Old, 9 Year Old Twin Boys, Best Decision I've Ever Made. - Sydney, AU

I have returned 12 months after my breast lift to complete my surgery. 2 weeks post op and feeling excited. Making this decision was the best decision and well worth it. I have complete faith in Dr Dona and just love his work. He makes you feel at ease and it's a great feeling knowing that you are both on the same page. He takes the time to listen to what you want and very thorough. I can't thank Dr Dona enough.

I am 42 years old and a mother of twin boys.
Unfortunately, my breasts were the only thing I couldn't save after pregnancy and breastfeeding. I knew they needed cosmetic surgery to make them look normal again, but that was something that frightened me. There were so many things to consider, location, the Dr, Australia or overseas, and definitely the costs. I was given Dr Eddy Dona's number and I got the courage to ring and enquire. That was a huge step but the staff were so nice and quickly put me at ease. After asking many questions, i took the plunge and made an appointment to see Dr Dona. My appointment was booked, and I straight away knew he was a great Dr as it was 5 months away, but it gave me plenty of time to really think about it and save some money.
The day came round quicker than I thought and of course, I was anxious. My husband came with me, mind you, he has been so supportive of me and my decision. Dr Dona was on time, and he was certainly worth the wait. We spoke in depth of my feelings and what i wasn't happy with and of course, what i wanted to achieve. I am a 14d and I was happy to stay that size. My problem was that my nipples were heading south and i really hated looking at them. I was thinking i would need a breast lift and implants, but after my examination, Dr Dona was honest to tell me that I would benefit from having a breast lift and no implants. I felt completely happy with Dr Dona's advise as he obviously was listening to me with what I wanted.
By the end of the consultation, both my husband and I felt confident with Dr Dona, we booked a date for surgery.
There was a 4 week turn around so my surgery was here in no time. I had a pre op appointment with Dr Dona 2 days before my surgery and I was pooping myself! I told Dr Dona how i was feeling and once again, he put me at ease and i left has surgery quite excited about my surgery.
The day of the surgery arrived and of course I was scared, , all the staff at the hospital were really nice and caring, and in no time i was awake and the job was done! Of course I was in pain, but the feeling i had over rid the pain. I finally had done it! And i am so happy with the results. Truly amazing Dr Dona is, i honestly wished I had done it sooner, not putting it off and procrastinating about it, to think of the time i wasted. Having my surgery has changed everything. I honestly don't regret it.
My recovery has been awesome, i was off work for 6 weeks,, but I was able to potter around slowly, and still do things like wash my hair, and still maintain things around the house. It was nowhere as bad as i thought.
I had a follow up appointment 1 week after with my nurse Danielle. She removed my bandages and re taped my scars, 2 weeks later, all bandages were removed. I recently seen Dr Dona for my 6 week check up and so happy that all is going well, and definitely feel well looked after as all appointments are made for you. So you know you are in good hands. Having that contact after the initial surgery, really goes to show how professional Dr Dona and his staff are.
