I underwent the tummy tuck 1 week ago on 17.5.2016 following a total weight loss of 45 kgs. At pre op it was determined I didn't require my muscles to be tightened due to strong core as a result of working out. Recovery has been painful but not unbearable. A total of 1 kg skin has been removed and 500 grams of fat via liposuction.

Today marks exactly two weeks since the surgery.
I am feeling much better. I am mobile and have started driving. Pain has definitely subsided; I do however get the daily nerve pinch in my right leg which is normal which has meant my walking isn't as fast and I am unable to stand upright fully as it causes pain.
The numbness in my upper thigh has also reduced so I'm hoping I'll be recovered in no time. Very happy with the results and outcome of the surgery so far. I have an appointment this morning with the nurse to change my dressing.
I am so glad to hear you are feeling better. Two week is generally the turning point. This is a long healing process that required much patience.
