PERFECT TUMMY TUCK *Pics* 26yo, 63kgs, 2 Pregnancies. Bella Vista, AU
ORIGINAL POST
I'm 26yo and 63kgs. I had a tummy tuck September...
WORTH IT$7,000
I'm 26yo and 63kgs. I had a tummy tuck September 7th 2016, I am currently 9 days post op.
Motivation: After 2 pregnancies my stomach skin and elasticity wasn't all that great. The skin was saggy and droopy and my belly button was all messed up. I decided to have an abdominoplasty.
Doctor: I've had a few procedures in the past with Dr Dona and I'm so so happy with the results of those procedures I'd never let another doctor touch me.
He's amazing. His level of care and overall passion and talent for plastic surgery shows. He ensured I was well informed and ready for the tummy tuck. His staff are amazing. The staff at norwest private were amazing. I'm very very happy.
Pain: I was given pain relief through a drip for the first 48hours plus panadol and after 2 days I wasn't even in pain I didn't even need pain relief. Now 9 days post op I've had nothing since day 2. It's uncomfortable to sleep. I wake up regularly the first week but now I'm sleeping straight through.
Scar* it's practically INVISIBLE.
I will post progress pics to update

Congratulations, OMG I have scar envy! Im sure you are over the moon with your decision. I am due to have my TT done on 24th November. I can only hope that my scar looks like yours when its all done. You look great

Whos doing yours hun. My friend had dr dona do her TT two years ago and she has the same scar as me so if you're seeing him you'll deffs get the same line scar

Im in NZ, PS David Glasson. I had considered going overseas due to the reduced $ but I think it is a big enough deal to do the surgery without having to endure a long flight on top of it all. It is costing a bit more but I have seen photos of his work and its pretty impressive I have to say. My 2 c/section scars are very thin like yours so I am hoping that this will not be too different. Did you tell lots of people you were doing this? I haven't. I just can't be bothered with the critical statements like you are already skinny enough....blah blah blah. Its not a skinny thing, it is an excess of loose saggy skin thing that only me & hubby have to look at. And a thing most people here 'get'.

YES OMG I FEEL YOU LOL !! I'M skinny and I refrain from telling everyone because they are so negative about it. Oh you don't need it blah blah. So I just keep it to myself. If you show your doctor the scar see if that's what he does in theatre

Hi there, just had my pre-op appointment today with the ps. He does not use a binder or a compression garment for the tummy tuck. He said he has not used them for years and continues to have great results. Did you have a binder or compression garment? Only 16 more sleeps to go! Week

Hi lovely noooo I never used the binder.
Don't need it. I recovered well.
Good luck upload lots of pics

Sorry for all the questions but from your photos you didn't appear to have any swell hell like lots of the others do. i wonder if this is due to not using a binder? I am using a compression garment on my upper arms as I am getting lipo on my bat wings! Oh, my arms are hideous! I hate them and usually need to get a larger size top due to arms not fitting. Grrr. Hopefully this will be the end of that.
Another question, (not sure if you work?) how long do you think it would have taken you to return to work for a moderate work load. I usually do quite a bit of walking, some sedentary work and some physical work. At times very long hours.
Why do all these questions come to you after you have been for your consult?
