Dr Dona Breast Lift/Reduction - Bella Vista, AU

Ever since puberty, my breasts were always different sizes, sagged and were generally quite uneven. I'd thought about getting them corrected for years and finally decided to go for it. I had a consultation with Dr Dona to see what he suggested and find out what my options were.

From the initial consultation I felt very comfortable with Dr Dona. He was very professional and very understanding of why I was there, and what I was hoping to achieve. He got straight to the point, explaining everything my options and what would be best. He explained that the first step was to focus on correcting the shape of my breasts and making them as even as possible, then if I wanted to go larger in size, that would be a separate surgery down the track. He said it would be more complicated to do the lift/reduction and insert implants all at one time, and would likely need a follow up surgery to to tweak the final result anyway.

I was very happy with the information I had received from Dr Dona and in the following few months decided to go ahead with surgery.

I got my funds sorted and shortly after had paid my deposit and booked a day for the surgery. I had another consultation with Dr Dona (I think 2 weeks prior to the surgery) and we went over everything again and made sure we were on the same page.

The surgery day came around, I had to travel a couple of hours to Sydney for the surgery (and all my consults). My surgery was booked for first thing that morning, around 9am, and of course, there was SO much traffic. I still feel terrible about it but I was actually an hour late to my surgery due to the amount of traffic. I was so anxious and nervous, and super scared that we would have to reschedule my surgery or that it would get cancelled.

To my relief, everything went ahead as planned. The staff were all so lovely and comforting, and didn't focus on the fact I was late. Dr Dona was also really lovely about it, joking that he had time for a coffee. I filled out all the paperwork, got into my gown and met with Dr Dona, where he proceeded to make his measurements and draw everything up.

The surgery went really well, it took a couple of hours. It was such a surreal feeling after waking up, and even for the first few days. My partner and I stayed at a hotel nearby for the night and drove back home the following day. I received a phone call the next day to make sure everything was feeling ok and that I had no problems.

I'm now almost 5 months post-op and have seen Dr Dona and his team 3-4 times since then to follow up and make sure everything is healing up ok.

Dr Dona and his team are all lovely. Very friendly and professional and I could not recommend them enough!
