I thought I'd start my review now as the "experience" has already started. I'm having my surgery at Beaucare Clinic in Belgium with Dr Sara Ulens. I've done a lot of research and am very happy with my decision to have my TT in Belgium. Also the clinic staff are very helpful and answer emails the same day and often within an hour or 2. I had my initial consultation with a Beaucare Dr in Harley Street on Tuesday and was told they don't do the tummy tuck and breast augmentation at the same time, so I will be having them separately.
A TT is my priority and I have been waiting over 15 years to have this done. I'm all booked in for 10th November. I will be having liposuction in that area as well. I'm tall and slim but carry weight around my middle. My last baby 15 years ago weighed 10lb 11oz so the skin is very saggy on my abdomen and I feel over weight and bloated even though I'm not. I will be having my breast surgery after Christmas. The cost of the surgery is less than half what I was quoted in the UK previously by another clinic and that didn't include liposuction either. I will update date with pictures and videos before, during and after my experience. Feel free to ask any questions.

Day 5 Post-op

Just a quick update. I’m now home from Belgium and it’s day 5 post-op.
My pre-op consultation with Dr Sara Ulens went very well. She answered all my questions and concerns before I asked them ie belly button shape and position and most importantly scar position. My scar is very low and belly button looks good to me, although is still swollen at this early stage. My first night was understandably uncomfortable. The next day I made sure I took all the pain medication I was given...you don’t get a medal for being a hero! Each day has been better than the day before. I’m very lucky to have my mum staying with me to do all the housework and cooking. It’s tough not to try and help her but I know how important it is not to. I’m adding before and after photos of my progress so far. Will update again in about a week. I’m happy to answer any questions.

Hello, hope you’re well now. Just wanted to ask you if you had the consultation and the surgery with Dr Sarah. I live in London and would love to have her as my surgeon. I would appreciate if you could give me a number I can contact as their site doesn’t show any UK number.
Thanks in advance xx

Hi, I’m so sorry I’ve only just seen your question.
The initial consultation is not with Dr Ulens but another surgeon from the clinic. It’s quite quick and can feel rushed if you don’t know anything about tummy tucks. If you want a full breakdown go in with questions written down. I had researched the life out of the procedure so new what I was getting into. Email the clinic to book consultation and surgery. The clinic staff are very responsive to emails and will pass messages on to Dr Ulens if you have any questions for her. I didn’t meet her until the day of surgery (but I googled her) and I had a 20 minute consultation with her right before my surgery. Apart from the cost, it was important that the end result looked natural. I like to wear a bikini on holiday and wanted my scar very low and Dr Ulens gave me exactly what I wanted. The only thing I can say is do your research. You will be discharged an hour or 2 after surgery and won’t be able to stand up straight for a few weeks. I had 2 drains that were taken out a few days after surgery at the clinic then I went home. Your gp can take your remaining stitches out. Also if you’re overweight I would recommend (and I have read) losing the excess weight first, you’ll have s better end result.
Good luck

All is still good with my recovery. However, I have noticed that with my increasing my exercise regimen I am more swollen at the end of the day. This resolves itself overnight, and I know this is part of the healing process.
