Update - 3 years post OP, nearly 4
WORTH IT$2,499
So! I thought I would update my review as it's been almost 4 years since my surgery.
My boobs finally settled on bra size 32 GG. They are huge! I love the way they look and the way they feel however bra shopping is a nightmare and if I could go back in time I would have insisted for less CCs. I trusted the doc and let him decide but I would have preferred slightly smaller.
I have no issues whatsoever and they do look great which is why I'm not getting them reduced. I'm actually very happy with the results and the weight doesnt cause me back pain or anything. They look very natural but I do get a lot of unwanted attention which I should have realised would be a side effect.. I just wanted to have enough boobs to hide my deformity and to look womanly. As a 6ft 1 women though, they do fit my body. This is all my own personal preferences though.
As for dr Ploviers work. I cant fault it. He did an excellent job and my recovery has been fine. I work out and run about with no issues. And I would recommend him to anyone considering a breast augmentation, especially if you want to go bigger because he isnt afraid to go bigger!
I'll see if I can post some update photos a little later so you can see how they have settled over time.

I love them ! They look fabulous ! Not fake looking at all xx
Thanks hun :) Although I'm liking the look every day.. the feel is still not right.. I'm still aware of them being there so just looking forward to this feeling passing.. x
Oh really ! What do they feel like ? If you don't mind me asking ? X
Well I didn't have a huge amount of breast tissue to begin with so I guess they feel like implants.. lol erm... the way I would describe it.. like bouncy... real boobs move a lot.. especially when you walk.. these don't move.. but when you push them, they feel squishy.. and they are getting squishier every day.. although I noticed today when i was walking that one of them is starting to squish enough that it's jiggling like a real boob.. I also spoke to a few other women on the forum and they say that they'll get more and more natural after a few months.. but will never be quite like your natural boobs were.. x
Looking great!!!!! Happy healing
Thanks very much!
you look beautiful! As someone with a breast deformity (tuberous) I can definitely sympathize and worrying if it will turn out okay. Congrats!
Thank you so much! It means a lot to read that :)
Are you booked in for surgery? Or had anything done yet? A good friend of mine has tuberous breasts and her surgery went very well, although she went to a clinic in the UK I believe :)
I got my BA a little over 6 weeks ago and I totally love em. With tuberous breasts there is always a chance that the pocket may not sufficient the first go around, but my PS is a perfectionist and will go back in and fix it at minimal cost to me. Congrats on getting great results!
Oh that's fantastic! Sounds like you picked a really good surgeon. Congrats to you too :-)
How exciting ! I'm sites your will end up being great .. Did Dr Plovier do any blood tests on you before the op ? X
No, I just had my consultation and then my surgery.. He may have while I was under but I think they only tend to do blood tests if you are an at risk patient or going in for more intensive surgery :-) my only issue could have been my heart as I have Marfans syndrome but I had got a heart scan only a few days before surgery separately and it checked out fine. :-)
hey there chicky, how are you now? \are you still happy with your results?
UPDATED FROM BoobyDoobyDoo
24 days post
Almost four weeks PO - A lot has happened
I'm a bit crap and haven't updated in a while but it seemed like not much was happening enough to warrant updating every day. So I'm now in week four and at the end of this week I won't have to wear this annoying sports bra any more and will apparently be able to resume full sports activities.. Phew! I'm packing on the pounds in this last month and can't wait to get trim again.
So, pain is pretty much gone now. I haven't taken pain meds since week 2 and haven't needed to take any since. I get a little bit of morning boob in the morning which goes after my body has warmed up.. but this gets less and less as the days go by. My bandages came off a little bit early and I cleaned the wound and covered them again but when those came off four days too soon I just thought sod it.. at almost three weeks the incisions were healed.. and I have to say, they have healed very well. I'll post pictures of my progress as I have been taking the odd picture here or there during these last couple of weeks.
My right breast is healing slower than my right.. the right has dropped quite quickly and the left is still higher and firmer.. it also is where I get most of my morning boob pain.. I can sleep on my right side with very little discomfort and its softening up nicely. Only issue I have had is I have mondor's cord in my right boob.. I was going to take a picture of this but it seems to have cleared up since.. it was mainly uncomfortable and unsightly.. but it went away in a few days.. and now I feel a lot more normal. Yippee!
Anyway, that's all there is to say really.. I'll make a handy timeline which accurately sums up my experiences with pain etc:
Week 1 - Worst pain is the first 3 days.. Mainly its a feeling of pressure.. and you have to take a lot of meds.
Week 2 - Pain subsides considerably but you'll still get intense morning boob.. where the muscles haven't been used all night so seem to tighten up again - Hot shower seems to help this.. Bandages were still on for me so couldn't really shower for long.
Week 3 - Bandages come off.. Incisions and boobs itch like crazy... Nerves start waking up again so have very sensitive nipples.. painful even.. some women describe the sensation like when their milk came in.. I haven't had kids so I'll take their word for it :) It's just annoying at this point rather than painful.. I also started to get the boobie blues.. Did I do the right thing? Will they ever soften? Is one nipple higher? Oh god they look so fake....
Week 4 - Feeling amazing, Looking amazing.. Squeezing my boobies a lot.. Oh! They seem to be able to be ever so slightly pushed together.. pain is non existent during the day.. very slight morning boob still.. Loving them more every day.
I'll update monthly from now on.. Just to show progression and dropping and fluffing.. I've been advised that D&F can take up to 7 months to a year! Urgh.. patience is a virtue.
