8 days post-op

Hi ladies
I'm 8 days post op now. Feeling loads better. Antibiotics are finished and not in any pain at all. I'm a bit tender where the stitches are but nothing major.

If you have any questions please feel free to message me or leave a comment. X

Thought I would post some pictures, no idea why they are upside down! I'll post some more over the coming days/weeks

Hey everyone, so I had my breast enlargement with Dr Plovier at BeClinic in Brussels 2 days ago and I thought I would share my experience.

My surgery was scheduled for 7am on Tuesday. Their driver picked my friend and I up from our hotel and we were at the clinic for about 6.30. At this point I was nervous aa I knew it was all finally happening.

The patient coordinator ran through some questions and then took me up to my room. I have to say the place was really clean and there was a dressing gown and slippers waiting for me on the bed. She told me to get into them and Dr Plovier would be in shortly. He came in a few minutes later and did my consultation.

He was really nice and explained everything well. Initially I told him I wanted about 330cc but he was frank and told me that would not be big enough and I would need at least 400cc but he would put in enough as he thought during the procedure. I thought as he was the expert I would go with his advice.

The anaesthetist came in after and went through some routine questions and then she took me straight into theatre. There was literally no waiting around which I was glad about as that would be more nerve racking.

I was more scared about being put to sleep but it turned out to be absolutely fine. The only thing I didn't like was that the anesthetist didn't wear gloves but I noticed that none of the nurses did so maybe that's just a Belgium thing but where I am from in England they always wear gloves.

I remember waking up in my room a couple of hours later. At that point I was not in a lot of pain just achey. But shortly after the pain set in so they gave me some pain killers.

About an hour later I started to feel sick and eventually I was which was a bit embarrassing but the nurse and Dr Plovier came in straight away to check me other. They said I was fine so nothing to worry about, I think it was just a side effect from the anaesthetic.

Dr Plovier told me that everything went really well and he inserted 425cc in the end so 100 more than I originally thought.

I had decided to travel home that evening which was quite tiring but I'm glad I did as I didn't want to stay in Brussels any longer than necessary.

As I say it's been 2 days and I am in some pain and discomfort. He did go under the muscle so I know that it is more painful.

To sum up I think Dr Plovier is brilliant in that he didn't just do what I want, more what he thought was best and I'm glad as I would have hated to have looked at them in a few months time and wished I had gone bigger which I know is very common.
