I feel I have pretty realistic expectations for a tummy tuck and butt lift, I don't want a huge booty, just to get back what fell or got lost after having kids. As for my belly, to get rid of everything hanging and have a flatter tummy. Also, how do I know if I had an muscle separation from the pregnancies? I am ready to research doctors, but I don't know where to start or how to decide.

I'm sure you do have muscle separation especially after twins!!. If you google diastasis recti exams or something like that, there are exams you can do at home; however, the plastic surgeon will officially diagnose you.
