7 week update!
To say I'm estastic with the way this whole journey has played out is an understatement.
I can't believe it has been 7 weeks since surgery.
There are some days where it feels so normal that I forget that I ever did it.
i am so grateful to Dr Medawar for seeing my vision and giving me a nose that looks natural and suits my face. I think my biggest fear going into this was that I would end up looking like a different person. But I'm so joyful and thankful that I'm still me, just a lil more refined.
Nose has been great, tip and columella are still numb to touch and still hurt if bumped. Swelling still fluctuates and tip swelling still very present. Overall I'm super happy.

Ps I also included a front view comparison. It's still swollen so doesn't really show a big difference but there is definitely more refinement in the tip then before.

Almost 4 weeks
In 2 days it will be 4 weeks since my surgery and I cannot express how happy I am. Everyday my nose changes, some days for the better and some for the worse, but I know this is all part of the healing process.
The tip is slowly starting the refine and swelling is also reducing in the bridge. Super super duper happy with my side profile. Nose still feels blocked a lot of the time, but I find cleaning it really helps

Dr Medawar is efficient and knowledgeable. All interactions i have had with Dr Medawar have been prompt and to the point. He had a calm nature and is very skilled at what he does. The nurses at HIMC are phenomenal. They are kind and caring and extremely helpful.
