I currently live in Europe and traveled to Beirut only to get rhinoplasty.
I was in touch with Dr Medawar for a few weeks before my procedure,i told him i wanted a small nose with a ski-slope,i told him i wanted my nose as small as possible.
The good thing about Dr Medawar is that i can easily have contact with him through Whatsapp instead of emails so he usually responds very quickly if he's not busy.
The HIMC hospital was nice and the nurses took good care of me,Beirut has high standards in nursing so i felt i was in good hands all the time,Dr Medawar is way more chill than the nurses though i felt they were a bit stressed me leaving the hospital 5 hours after surgery however it was really not a problem after speaking with Dr Medawar,my hotel was 10 minutes from the clinic.
I am now 11 days post op wich is quite early,but so far it looks good,i told the Dr before surgery to make my nose as small as possible,and it seems like i got what i asked for.Profile looks very nice but the front of the nose is still very wide after taking my splint off.I'm unsure of my columella hanging to much but when i feel it it is very hard and Dr told me it will appear smaller later on when the swelling has gone down alot more and tip has dropped.
I'm still very early in the healing process so i will update this in a few weeks.

It looks very cute! Just like a petite ski slope. :) Here is what doctors say is normal for swelling after rhinoplasty.

Your nose looks ok from here..But I guess you know what you want and it's very early days..Far too early really. I am looking for a brilliant nose surgeon and I hear they are good in the middle East,but I would be afraid to go there at the moment,with all the troubles. Did you feel safe and are you protected?

I felt safe,there are some military walking the streets sometimes but i didnt feel concerned the place seemed pretty cool,however the day i travelled back to Europe there was several military stopping the taxi on the way back to the airport asking us where we were going. Most of my swelling is gone now,i got what i asked for yes.Small nose with ski slope and up-tip.Went to a plastic surgeon today to have him look at my nose and feel it and he actually gave my Dr in Beirut credit for doing such a good job. Please have in mind there are no perfect surgeon,all surgeons dealing with rhinoplasty have revisions especially if you have a crooked nose,i would recommend you going to Iran if not going to Beirut.

lol I'm lebanese and this situation is normal.. there are always things going on but it doesn't stop anyone from visiting because generally it is safe in Beirut :) Hope that helps xx

Hi Misslo, really love your nose and glad you're happy. I am also thinking about Medawar but a little scared of going abroad just off a few reviews (in total I've seen about 6 on here). Nope i did not consult with anyone else,there are several good surgeons in lebanon though not all of them put pictures on their website

I had a normal straight nose with a normal tip pointing straight forwards,didnt have a hump or anything like that,just wanted a more feminine look on my nose keep an eye here i will post my before pics later on,not very excited to post my entire face on here so i have to change the pics and such.xx

Nose starting to look really good :)
I hope my tip doesnt drop more cause i like when its high.
I'm very happy with my decision going to Dr medawar,i didnt have to pay in advance either wich is a good thing if you are comming from abroad and want surgery by him.Cant upload pics right now since i'm having trouble with my computer not recognizing my phone.

Sorry for my late reply.Tickets was around 250 Euros (I live in Europe) I stayed for 4 nights i think and the hotel was maybe 150 Euros per night.I sent my Dr pictures on Whatsapp i dont have any problems with my nose so i wont need any check-up(my own choice)
