1 year post op

I can't believe I'm finally at my one year mark! The recovery process for me personally took a lot longer than I thought (even though the surgeon warned me I won't have optimal results for 12-18 months). I think I was in denial that it took that long! Only in the last two months has pain in my boobs stopped when I sleep on my side and I've noticed them drop ALOT. Also increasing my upper body exercises like push ups and weights etc which for a long time felt uncomfortable and painful. I'm so happy to be at the point where I can say I love my boobs and I 100% don't have any regrets getting them done. For anyone who is still in the early stages of recovery - hang in there!! It's all worth it in the end.

Wow, can't believe I've officially passed the two week mark! What an absolute roller coaster of a two weeks it's been. I've experienced all sorts of pain and discomfort, burning boobs, extremely sore nipples, sharp electric pains under my incisions and even mondors cords! (inflamed veins). I've also been pretty depressed this week but it only lasted max 3 days. Thankfully it's all normal and means my bodies on the mend. The tightness has begun to ease and I've regained complete movement in my arms. The first two weeks are definitely hard but
I'm lucky to have a really good support network. My right boob has strarted to drop sooner than my left (as seen in pic). I'm really looking forward to seeing them change and starting to get used to being practically 3 cup sizes bigger! I love that when I went back to work it was unnoticble in clothes (I did however wear loose shirts!!) and they don't grab loads of attention which is exactly what I wanted. The bandages are off and the incisions look really tidy. I'll keep updating this but if anyone have any questions feel free to ask!

Can't believe I've finally past the one week mark! I've started noticing differences already but I'm still pretty uncomfortable and hate wearing the band because it's hurting against my swelling. Can anyone tell me when the swelling subsides?
