Tray 19
shastahunMarch 30, 2016
WORTH IT$7,500
Things are moving right along. Tray 19 seems to be working mostly on my upper teeth, but these are such small movements that you hardly really notice what is going on. I went back and looked at my teeth at the beginning compared to now, and I can definitely tell a difference. They still have not given me the elastics to work on my overbite yet, but I get my next set of trays next week, so I might get them then.

Tray 8 and Buttons
shastahunJanuary 13, 2016
Yesterday I had my Orthodontist appointment to get my next set of aligners along with my buttons/attachments on. They started out by checking out my current aligner while it was on. They said everything looked great. Then they prepped my teeth, put on the glue, and put the buttons on along with a hook on the bottom right side for when I eventually get my elastics for my overbite. The appointment went really smooth and I was actually out the door well before the hour appointment allotment.
My trays are definitely fitting a lot better/tighter with the addition of the buttons. I struggled a bit last night before dinner to get my trays off, but I realized that one back side doesn't have any buttons so I started there and they came off easily after that. I do have a crochet hook just in case, but so far I've been able to get them on and off fairly easy without much trouble. I'm really happy that my trays are fitting a lot better. I can no longer wiggle the front and have it slide on and off.
16 more months to go! No progress photo because my teeth look relatively the same. The only shifting that occurred was in the back.
