How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Final update
Hello, I have to say that this turkey journey has really hindered my life and although the service has been very good my face has been damaged very badly.
Firstly, it looks unnatural when the hairs are short. The clinic will dissect multi-hair grafts into single hairs to add density without making more fue slits but it looks very weird growing out which I WILL need to get fixed.
The beard line for the top and bottom is too straight.
I fixed the beard line at the neck by going to another doctor in Australia and removing some hairs from the beard and placing in under the chin and neck area and he told me how how unnatural my beard pattern was. All the hairs were in straight rows while natural beard hairs come out sporadically.
Secondly, my skin has been severely damaged. After my beard transplant I noticed hardly any of my hairs fell out but it’s expected to fall out after a few weeks like my recent revision beard transplant. I thought if the doctor removed some of the hairs the skin would at least come back to it’s natural colour but the skin still looks like a red brown colour you would see after an injury which makes me wonder what the hell they did. I can say that the skin where a real doctor did my revision beard transplant looks pink now it’s getting lighter and lighter!
Even though at first getting a beard transplant was cheaper in turkey at a clinic it will cost you much more later when you need to get it fixed if you ended up with a bad result like mine.
I will probably need laser resurfacing and many other treatments and creams to fix my skin. It’s defiantly affected my dating life. So if you never wanna shave and have a beard to cover your skin then maybe esteprime is for you but if you want to style and perhaps need to be clean shaven once in a while then I defiantly do not recommend going to any place like Esteprime where a qualified doctor is not operating on you!!
I’m sorry but this is an honest review to help people to avoid botched results!!

Hello I’m still around and there’s defiantly been a lot of regrowth of hair. I’m constantly scouting online for more information about beard transplant recovery so send me a message whenever...
What’s been going on:????
Basically I’ve been growing my beard once in awhile and then shaving it (gentle electric shaver ONLY) or trimming it with mini scissors. Why? Because of the dark mark. You can see it in one of the photos I’ve attached vs the photo of how I cover up the dark marks with makeup. While all my family friends and work colleagues know about it I’m still concerned about strangers staring at my weird stain on my face. It doesn’t help that the beard line looks so fake and obvious. Been reading online about people getting stuck with this discolouration for months and it’s getting me worried a lot :(
Some of you might think why don’t I just grow the beard to hide it. Well because it’s very difficult to hide the discolouration with makeup if there is hair growing so I usually shave the top areas of the beard. The beard line looks more obvious and it’s harder to conceal.
So if any of y’all thinking about doing beard transplants BE PREPARED about the repercussions. I’m quite happy how my beard looks minus the fake looking beard line and discolouration and I’ve seen a lot worse results here on RealSelf but if I could go back I wish I would save more money and go to a real professional HT doctor... but what’s done is done and I’ll let time play out and see how things turn out.
From today I’ll just be growing my beard instead of concealing. I can still conceal but the coverage is harder to get the longer the beard grows.
As for bumps, folliculitis, and Cobblestoning I haven’t experienced it and I hopefully I don’t in the future but I’ve attached a picture of my goatee and while it’s not obvious with the naked eye I can still see very very slight bumps if I use a mirror under a torch light when I’m observe my beard nightly which I’m not too worried about because my beard hairs on my cheeks don’t have bumps at all but I’ll keep an eye out as I let it grow out.
Anyway, for those who’ve ubdergone the surgery and suffering from hyperpigmentation or redness here’s my advice:
- Use dermal foundation to cover (this is highest coverage foundation in the world)
- use a concealer tip to apply foundation rather than brush or sponge
- then just apply very very small amounts of the foundation above beard line and blend with skin with a kabuki brush.
-use eyeshadow and mascara to thicken beard or recolour the beard that the foundation has covered or turned ashy (eyeshadow to blend jawline and goatee to add density)
I hope this helps anyone out there and I’ll be keeping you guys more with updates, hopefully with a thicker bush.
