The bridge of my nose wasn't completely straight and had a slight bump on one side. People often asked if my nose had been broken. Dr. Goldman straightened the bridge and smoothed out the bump for a more symmetrical look straight on and in profile. I also had the tip of my nose refined a little since it was a bit droopy. I didn't want to look completely different, so the changes were subtle enough that people outside my family don't necessarily notice that I had it done (at least not that they've said). But I do think it looks better, and my profile from the right side now looks the same as from the left, as desired.

The recovery process was also very easy. It will vary from case to case and depends on each person's pain tolerance, but the prescription medicine I received did a good job of alleviating any discomfort as soon as I started to have any. I got the nose brace off and within a week of the surgery I looked completely healed without any bruising. The tip of my nose did feel numb for a while after, but within a few months all feeling returned to normal.
