rhinoplasty update!

I accidentally titled the last post 5 years when it’s only been 4. Here’s a bonus no makeup picture in a Starbucks bathroom. Enjoy! Also, please feel free to message me and ask any questions you would like! Out of all the procedures I’ve had, ordered from most painful to least, rhinoplasty is always at the bottom of the list. I’ll even indulge you with my ranking.
1. Tonsils. Avoid at all costs if possible.
2. Wisdom teeth
3. Biopsy under anesthesia
4. Getting flicked in the arm
5. Rhinoplasty
Okay now I’m just being goofy. Moral of this rambling is that I love my nose and I’ll happily give advice/ answer any questions about my experience.

So hey it’s been 5 years!

So overall I’m so thankful I went though with the procedure. My identity would not be the same without my nose. Dr. Goldman still keeps up with me (asks me how school is, etc) and I’m just honestly so happy. I can definitely get picky about my nose (I wish it were this way, that way, blah blah blah) but overall I feel so confident and I still happy squeal at pictures that particularly show off my nose. I suppose I feel that this was always how I looked? Like this is the nose I’m meant to have. It’s just simply my nose. I don’t know how to describe it, but I’m just so thankful I’m not an insecure teenager with a massive dorsal hump nose anymore. My life is definitely better for it.

With all the pictures i tried to upload ones where I’m not wearing any makeup so you can really see how wonderfully it healed. Also that i have horrible under eye bags. If anyone is offering free filler, let me know ;)

Before pictures!

ugh this is painful. And funny enough (since Jake is in every single picture) as a fun fact, every time I would kiss him, my nose would literally poke his cheek. Whoever said money can't buy happiness didn't go to the right surgeon.

Wow. That is the only word I can use to completely sum up Dr. Goldman. He is one of the kindest, genuine people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Before my rhinoplasty, I had been to several doctors. Of which were meh and seemed competent but not right for me. When I found Dr. Goldman online, I immediately made an appointment. After the first meeting, I made appointments for multiple consultations with him; of which are completely complimentary after the first initial payment of $75. He had explained in exact detail everything he would like to do and demonstrated this after with two different morph photos! After I decided he was the doctor for me, I booked a schedule time as soon as possible. Right before surgery, he came in and reassured me and talked with my family like an absolute gentlemen; mapping out the "game plan" and really comforting all of us. After surgery, I was spastic and emailed him at least 3 times a day (crazy, I know but I wanted answers to my questions and pain pills tend to erase social boundaries). Each time he would email me back, HIM not a secretary, within 5 minutes of my email. He is an absolute gentleman and I have nothing but the upmost respect for him. If you're in the area and need a surgeon, go to Goldman. He is quite honestly the best. Oh and the staff is adorable. They are so helpful and caring it's like they were all some how manufactured by the same person. What a wonderful experience.
