Hello all I had my surgery 5/14 by Dr B in Long Island. Him and the entire staff are amazing. I’m only a few days post up so I’m uploading a pic in my faja since I haven’t taken it off yet. Tomorrow I should be showering and posting more pics. Okay ladies so first things first about combining these particular surgeries: you need to have support, emotionally and physically! Especially physically. My fiancé is super strong and was able to help me out of bed to walk to to the bathroom since the first night. My plan was to use the female urinal I purchased off amazon and stand right next to the bed as instructed. They don’t want you walking to the bathroom first 24 hours Bc of how dizzy you get and you can faint. So I had tested the urinal at home and was like “wow this is freakin awesome” , worked like a charm. However when standing after surgery I was too stiff to relax and allow the pee out. So my fiancé helped me out of bed and walked me to the bathroom every 2 hours for the first 48 hours. So having a physically strong person with is so so so important. If I would have brought my mom this wouldn’t have worked, husbands would work best for that part unless the person hits the gym and has good upper body strength for moving people. I’m a nurse and I know most nurses work out to be strong enough at work Bc it’s easy to hurt your back. Ok so whoever comes with you cannot be afraid of blood or bodily fluids. You leak a lot with the lipo and it drips and gets all over everything. Which is good to leak Bc it’s coming out but it’s messy. Also our drains need emptying. They fill with blood and sometimes there is some chunky surprises in the drain and it can be a little messy when it squirts out all over so be careful when emptying. My fiancé was great emptying until the first “chunky string” then he gagged so I finished the job. So I had the surgery on Tuesday and it’s Friday so we will call this day 3 I guess. Ladies, you need to emotionally prepare, Ive been on an emotional roller coaster since Tuesday. There have been moments where I’ve cried, questioned what I did, and felt regretful Bc my fiancé has to do everything for me. When you get your arms done along with bbl and TT, you cannot move. Literally. You can’t use your arms Bc they are swollen and so painful. You can’t use your core or your butt to move or slide. It’s just very very upsetting if your a person who does it all and now you are feeling crippled. HOWEVER. I am still happy I did the procedure and am excited to see my results over the next few months!! Keep in mind everyone has a different pain tolerance. This is just my personal experience with the recovery. There are other women I have seen on here and other blogs that seem to have done better with the pain than me. That being said I may have staged the surgeries and done them separate if I was able to however it wasn’t an option for me Bc of work. So Basically if you have a strong support person and you are mentally prepared for pain, blood, possibly puke(happen to me after the Surgery), ups and downs for the first 72 hours, then you can do it! I did mentally prepare myself but I didn’t anticipate this much pain. We all think we are tougher than we are I guess. I have had 4 childbirths, 2 vaginal with no epidural as 2 c-sections and none of that was even close to how I felt after this surgery. This rocked my world, but I have a feeling I’m going to look BOMB bc dr b is the best! Again him and the whole staff are so nice and friendly, approachable, and I always felt cared about.I’ll try and post pics tomorrow after my shower.

I’m also scheduled w Dr. B in Sept. did you stay in the hotel overnight? Or go home?
May 23, 2019
Stayed in the hotel since it’s a 2.5 hour drive home for me. Then the nurse came to clean me up and check me out the morning after surgery then I left

Hey everyone I’m 10 days post op. Starting to feel human again. It hasn’t been pretty but I knew this when I signed up. Still have my drain in since I am still draining over 25cc in 24 hours. However today I’m finally slowing down and about 25, so I’ll be getting it removed Tuesday. Here is a few pics I’ll post more later when I shower.
