I have never liked my nose. Just a bit larger than what I would have liked with the bridge being more bony than ideal. I am looking forward to having the nose I always dreamed of! I have read the reviews and they are exceptional. Also, one of my best friends had a rhinoplasty by Dr. Salzhauer. She had no complications and minimal pain. She recovered very well and had few limitations only a few weeks after surgery.

SO glad I did it!

I had always wanted a rhinoplasty. The bridge of my nose was wide and bumpy. I felt like it took away from my other facial features. I sustained some blunt facial trauma even after that and I could not breathe or smell. This pushed me to proceed with rhinoplasty. After seeing Dr. Salzhauer's amazing job on my best friend, I decided to proceed with surgery. My best friend's twin & I went together and had our noses reconstructed. They were SO nice and professional. I wasn't worried at all peri or post-procedure. I was sedated adequately throughout the procedure. After the surgery I was up, enjoying a Starbucks Frappucino and watching tv hours later. I remained very independent thereafter and had no complications. Someone came to our room to check on us and called us at home as well. Also, the things I did not like about my nose were the wide bridge, the "humps" in it and the fact I could not breathe. I felt my nose overtook some of my other features. The pictures below (right is roughly 1 month post-op, so there is still swelling). But, I can tell you that Weekend I was out for Halloween. No issues. I love my nose more & more every day as the swelling continues to go down. I'm starting to be able to smell. The first week after I went to the mall & it was sensory overload. I could smell the fragrances at bath & body works, coffee at the coffee shop, and also popcorn at a stand nearby. That was the first time I had been able to smell in years. I also like that it is very subtle yet I know the major difference.
Everyone was so kind and polite. I was blown away to know that they actually meet every week to discuss patients and their care and read cards, etc. I think it's unfair to just say that everyone was nice, the environment was clean, and I received great care because it just doesn't sum up how truly pleased I was with my care or my new nose:) I still get calls or texts from the office to ensure I am satisfied. Truly a great place to have surgery!
