So where do I The short story: I want...

So where do I The short story: I want a bigger azz!! From the front I have a Cola shape (when I'm in my best shape) which is so misleading for what lies behind me...absolutely nothing!!! This brings me at the mercy of my fairy God-Surgeon Dr. Salzhauer to transfer my flat ass into a pumpkin. lol! I will be getting 5 areas of liposuction: arms, upper & lower abs, and upper and lower back....although I think I'm going to switch my arms with my thighs or hips. After my weight loss, my arms have gotten much smaller.

After visiting Dr. Markmann in Baltimore and Dr. Bauer in Atlanta, I have made my finally decision on Bal Harbour Plastic Surgery. I was very close to switching over to Dr. Salama, (only because I have seen my reviews for him this year) but at the end of the day, I had to go with who I entrusted with my life. Last year I was scheduled to have the procedure done in November, however I was laid from my job in August. I wasnt able to get back on track for payments until April. His office was very understanding about it. Although my proposed date is September 24th, I haven't officially placed myself on the surgery calendar because I wanted to make sure that everything was paid off first (just in case history repeats itself).

I'm so excited but nervous at the same time. For the past 2 weeks Ive been back in the gym working out EVERYDAY, and I have drastically changed my eating habits. I want to make sure that I am as healthly as possible before going under.
Last year when I went to the office in May I weighed 168 at 5'2". As of yesterday I am 154.2. I want to get down to 145 before my surgery. I see that most people lose between 5-8 pounds from the surgery which would put me near my ideal weight of 135ish.
I'm still need help in finding a hotel and getting my pre-and post out food and medical necessities. About to post some Pre-op Pics shortly.

I'm starting to get my list of items together for the surgery, as well as make hotel and airline accomodations. I'm looking for a place that has a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms or a pull-out couch. I'm kinda afraid to trust any of the listings on Craigslist. Any suggestions on Condos or hotels would be greatly appreciated. At some point i'm going to go through all of these posts and make one long extensive list of items to bring with me.

I just make the last and final payment this morning...I wasn't on the surgery calendar but luckily I was able to grab the last surgery date for October. This gives me more than enough time to book flights, hotels, go shopping, etc. My excited ass rushed to my primary care doctor and completely forgot that my new surgery date was two laters than my proposed surgery date...therefore I was more than 30 days out from the surgery and couldn't do the medical clearance....shaking my head at myself. lol! I rescheduled for next Monday. I'm sooooooooo excited!!! Can't wait to go from FLAT to PHAT!!!

Just got back from the doc today and he gave me...

Just got back from the doc today and he gave me the green light to proceed. I'm still trying to decide on a hotel. I'm soooo nervous about the flight, the actual surgery, the recovery, and most important THE RESULTS!!! I've compiled a folder of pics on my desktop of "Ideal Asses" and "Not So Ideal Asses," and I'm thinking about having them printed out and binded at Kinkos so I can give him his own copy as a point of Just in case he forgets, I can put some post-it flags on my favorite pics just in case he needs a reminder during surgery.

After careful searching I decided to go with one of the Hampton Inn's in Ft. Lauderdale. For only $798 I was able to get 9 nights. There's free parking, free hot breaksfast (not that skimpy little continental ish), and free Wi-Fi!! Flat Screen TV, A microwave, and refrigerator. I LOVE IT! {Kevin Hart voice!} lol. I am still searching for the best deal for the rental car.

As far as the fasting, Dr. Salzhauer gave a long list of foods, herbs, and medications to avoid 2 weeks prior to surgery because they affect blood clotting. Some of the main things that I love to eat are prohibited. For example:
Apples, grapes, tomatoes, strawberries, almonds, pickles, ginger (there goes my craving for sushi), garlic, cherries, cucumbers, onions, papaya....and the list goes on!!!!!! I was at the grocery store earlier pissed because everything that I picked up would require one of those ingredients to go with it. (For ex. no spaghetti or tacos because spaghetti sauce and salsa has tomatoes). No hoagies because I can't add onions, tomatoes, or pickles. No frozen pizza because of garlic and get my point and frustration? Looks like I'll be eating yogurt, fish, cereal, and leafy veggies until further notice. The 15th will be my last day to enjoy the crummy stuff, so CHEERS to my last glass of wine and slice of pizza, until I make it back from the other side.

Good Morning my BBL sisters! I have finally...

Good Morning my BBL sisters! I have finally completed all of my shopping for the trip and it wasn't so bad. Most of the stuff I already owned. The best part was the sale that I was able to get on the maxi/sundresses (3 dresses for $6....I love living in NY!!!) I was able to get my Boppy Pillow on sale from Target for only $29.99 (original price was $39.99). I'm just making my list, and checking it twice, to make sure that I didn't leave anything off. I'm super excited but I'm also super nervous. I cant wait to meet my surgery buddy MsCheshireKitty, as we are scheduled for surgery the same day and our pre-op visits are also scheduled the day before. I've been eating everything in sight just to make sure I will have enough fat to yield the results I once this surgery is over I'm switching to a healthier diet to maintain my body. Having to pay over 8 grand to get your body in order is a reality check as far as health and diet. But for now, I'm going to find the biggest most caloric ice cream sundae and chow down sometime between now and next Tuesday. YUMMY!! :-)

I'll try to post some more Before pics too.

Because of Sandy and friends, my flight for 7 am...

Because of Sandy and friends, my flight for 7 am was cancelled this morning and now rescheduled for 1:15 Tuesday afternoon. What is wrong with that you say? My surgery is scheduled for Tuesday!!! I've been having a very rough start. I accidentally left my Boppy Pillow back in NY, I accidentally left my house keys on the charter bus to DC (I was planning to fly out from Bmore with my mom this morning) and now this!! ARGGGGH! I was already nervous of hell because of flying and going through surgery but now this! It gets worse, my period is scheduled to come on tomorrow which is another inconvenience to deal with during my preparation for surgery. Sandy is ruining my life right now...and the silly thing is it's just raining as usual here. There's no gusty winds, no heavy terrestrial rains, NOTHING!!! The only good this is I did get to vote yesterday (Yaaaaaay)-after standing in line for 4 hours!!!
Please pray for my BBL sister MsCheshireKitty. Fortunately for her she left from the West Coast so she should be on schedule as usual. She has been the greatest surgery buddy. I've been bugging her over the past few weeks with tons of questions and she has definitely helped with easing some of my anxieties. Sending prayers your way girl!!!
I'll keep you all updated as Sandy and I duke it out!!

Even though Sandy has pretty much run her course...

Even though Sandy has pretty much run her course in the DC/MD area, the flights are still cancelled for the rest of the day. I'm hoping that they will resume flights at some point this evening-otherwise I'm stuck here until my flight tomorrow evening. Hopefully they'll be able to squeeze me in on Thursday.
On a different note, my BBL sister MsCheshireKitty is in surgery as we speak...please continue to send prayers her way!
I'll continue to update on the status of the trip.

Hey Guys, I actually ended up having my surgery on...

Hey Guys, I actually ended up having my surgery on Wednesday instead of today. If I didn't have my surgery on Wednesday they would not have been able to squeeze me in until next week...unfortunately my hotel was paid up through next Wednesday. My mom at the last minute came up with the idea of driving 2 hours away to fly out of Richmond. We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale a little after midnite on Tuesday and I reported for surgery on Wednesday.

The preparation for surgery:
As soon as I arrived I had to give a urine sample for a pregnancy test. I was immediately given consent forms to sign, surgery knee-hi stockings, and little thick socks to put on over the stockings. I met with Dr. Salzhauer and showed him my powerpoint presentation of Ideal volume wish pics and not-so-ideal pics. He does enjoy wish pics. They didn't waste anytime to get me into the surgery room. About 30 minutes after I arrived I was laid out on the operating table with the IV hooked up. I slowly drifted off and woke up in pain sitting on the boppy. The anesthesiologist was very nice and comforting...his little nurse's assistant-not so much. She wasn't rude, but I felt like even though I was nervous no one really seemed too compassionate about that. I just wanted someone to be more comforting with holding my hand until I fell asleep.

My first night was hell. Pain, bleeding, and more pain. I laid out a shower curtain on the bed to avoid getting blood on the comforter and sheets. My mom has been an absolute trooper in helping me remember to take my meds and supplements on time. Getting up to go to the bathroom has been a challenge. I've been hunched over walking like a little old lady.

My surgery sister MsCheshireKitty sent me pics of her results and Salzhauer did his this!!! I'm going to try to post some pics tonight or tomorrow. I didn't really bruise too much...just a little under my breasts and sides. My stomach is still extremely swollen. Thanks for all of the prayers and support. I'll continue to update you on my journey.

Sorry to have fallen off of the face of the earth....

Sorry to have fallen off of the face of the earth. I've been taking it easy and trying to recover each day. I'm operating at about 75%. I'm still very sore and swollen in my stomach and back areas. As far as my travels back from Miami, I ended up catching a flight that was empty so I was able to lay across three seats. When I took took the Charter bus back to New York, I paid for two seats so I could lay down. The only time I had to really sit was when I went to the hair salon on Saturday. I tried to hold out but I was already 1 month overdue!! It doesn't help having a fresh new booty with wolverine hair! lol
I'll try to take some better pics but I wasn't able to get a good angle with the stupid flash. If you guys have any questions about the process or going through Dr. Salzhauer...shoot away! I think he is a phenomenal PS!
Oh yeah...almost forgot..the CC's. He said that I got 3000 altogether. 200 in each hip and the rest was distributed evenly in the cheeks.

So Wednesday will be Week 3!! Seems like just...

So Wednesday will be Week 3!! Seems like just yesterday I was worried about going under and my flight cancellations due to Sandy. So far the recovery has been better...still no sitting! I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to pull off Thanksgiving with this sitting boyfriend and I are supposed to be going to an upscale restaurant so I'm sure my Boppy will not be welcomed. LOL!
I am dying to get back into the gym. I haven't been wearing my garment as much, but I wear my squeem religiously and my Booty-Out Panties that I purchased from Vedette. My tummy dropped from 31 inches to 29 inches in 1 week. It's still sore and lumpy around the belly area so I'm hoping that it will drop at least 1 more inch once the swelling goes down.
Well, that's about all that I have for now ladies...
