I had a very negative Kybella experience with Dr. Ting 1 year ago. I'm kind of skinny, 41 year old, and wanted to see if he can help me with a little fat under my chin. I had no double chin, but wanted a tighter neck. I wasn't sure if I needed anything at all and if the procedure was right for me. I thought there was no harm in getting a consultation. So I signed up for a consultation and asked him if I was a good candidate - of course I was! In fact he performed the first Kybella precedure immediately during the first consultation. He told me it will require two procedures, so I need to come one more time. But after the second procedure my neck looked horrible, it was asymmetrical with a bump on one side and a deep gap on the other side. He had to do two additional procedures to even it out (four in total on a skinny patient!) Even though it was clearly Dr. Tings lack of skill and knowledge, I had to pay for additional procedures to fix his mistake. After four procedures and thousands of dollars spent I ended up with an old creepy looking neck. You can see all the bumps and gaps under the skin because of overdone fat melting. Also, the skin of my neck got loose after repeated over-stretching since the procedures cause swelling. I wanted to enhance my beauty, but ended up looking prematurely aged. I wish I could have my fat back, to cover up my creepy neck, but it's not reversible. It's being a year and I find myself very self-conscious about my old looking neck. I'm very sad I trusted Dr. Ting.
