I had surgery Wed morning and today is Saturday. They are looking pretty good but the left top (my left) seems to be not a swollen or maybe not as even - not sure yet since the other side is still really swollen. Ive been taking Arnica to maybe reduce swelling and bruising along with some pain meds and antibiotics

Did the asymmetry end up fixing itself? I am starting to notice the same issue 6 days post op on my top lip. One end of the implant seems a bit higher. However I am much more bruised on the side that seems higher so I'm wondering if that's it. Once the swelling subsided completely did you find that they looked even?

My original Dr cancelled me for the redo, so I did research and someone to fix them, the doctor who invested them. They were put in wrong. I have longer lips than normal, so it's not going to cover all the area. He doesn't want me to sleep on my side for 3 days. I got a cervical pillow. Make sure you ask the question in any surgery, where will the cut be.? I had a cut in the center of my upper lip.Not the way they were instructed to him. He did his own thing. Did not turn out.

read on the internet it's called permalip by surgisil. it's a permanent inplant in lips so you don't have to keep getting juvederm or whatever. you just do it once. but it hurts and takes about 3 weeks for severe swelling to subside your lips swell about 3 x normal but it finally after a lot of pain goes down. and you have beautiful lips without shots ever 6 mo.

I am on day 4 after the completion of my revision. I had the 2 old implants removed and 2 new ones placed in new tunnels by the new plastic surgeon. Hopefully these work out better than the last wack job! I am still swollen but healing nicely. Will post pictures as soon as the swelling has gone down a little more.

Well I am finally getting around to having my Permalip implants removed from my March surgery and new ones placed in the proper places. New Surgery is on the 15th and with a new doctor!!

Getting a redo next week. Lump in upper lip from shifting. A little bummed. Hope my downtime doesn't make me miss work.
