28 Year Old Wants to Improve Jawline - Baton Rouge, LA

Disapointed

So, I ma almost a year post and I never really got any results :-(. My face felt firmer at first with the ulthera but a less than a year later, it feels like I never did anything. I was told that the results would last 5 years as long as I don't gain any weight , that never happened. I am broken hearted because this "non invasive" procedure was very invasive and excruciatingly painful. I'm thinking, since what I really wanted was a more defined jaw line, Ulthera and mesotherapy were not the best options for me despite what I have been told. When a different Dr., Dr Feldman did my ulthera, before the procedure he gave me a 10mn speech about having realistic expectations and told me that in case the mesotherapy and the ulthera didn;t work to come see him for laser lipo. I think he was just trying to tell me that I wouldn't get the results I wanted frm this procedure but it was the day of the procedure, I was already numbed and nervous and so it never clicked, but now it makes perfect sense. if firming your face is what you are trying to achieve, I wouldn't recommend the ulthera or mesotherapy. All this pain and the results were extremely temporary, two months tops I would say? So I am back at square one... looking for another solution and a different DR. this time :-(

Try a low carb high protein diet. It works and its much cheaper. Good luck.

I hate you didn't the results you wanted. I know how it feels to be told a treatment will help you, and you get your hopes up, and you patiently await for the change and it never materialize. Just keep doing research until you find a satisfying solution. I am searching for the same procedure to improve jawline...

Holy crap, Ebonyporcelain!! Thank you very much for sharing your experiences- more and more, i am reading about results just like what you went through, or, the opposite (ultherapy looked like it melted the natural, healthy fullness of the face and made it look like stretched plastic! So sorry you went through this. Take care

I live in New Orleans and have used a derm in BR. I think your doc should not have recommended you have ultherapy. You are too young to get a benefit from it. Its not for reducing a double chin. Its for skin tightening. Thanks for your review. I will never go to your doctor.

For $2000 they should be able to *guarantee* results or at least apply $2000 credit to another procedure instead of pocketing your money. What a scam!

A week post I am extremely swollen. It looks worse than before. I guess it will get ugly before it gets better.

Thanks for updating ! Do you notice any difference? I was considering doing this for the face but not sure if it's worth the cost. If your main concern is fatty tissue around the neck area, there's also exercises that might be able to help if The Ulthera results end up being unsatisfactory. http://www.pinterest.com/explore/double-chin-exercises/

There's also a product by Paul Younane that might help.

Ivana321 I wanted to wait to see results because at first it was very disappointing. So it's been almost two months and my skin is definitely tighter. I noticed a difference and now everyone has been noticing it as well. I get a lot of " you look younger " and your skin looks better. Even though that's not why I did the treatment. If you are looking for skin tightening it's the way to go. The results are fantastic. However, it did nothing for my double chin :-( . I wish I had taken photos of my face before the treatment.

Try Kybella for the double chin!

Hi, so now that your so many months out, have you noticed even more improvement?
I'm considering the procedure but concerned about the recovery time.
Thanks.
