Tummy Tuck, Baton Rouge, Dr. Cox -very Pleased

WORTH IT$7,600

I feel like Dr. Cox did more for me than even he originally expected. I'm 1week out and already feel like the surgery has been a gift. I can't wait to see how I heal but as far as my goal of looking better in clothes, I know we have reached that goal. I really am thankful for the RS community and for a site like this to help us all understand what our surgeries entail. God has blessed me so farthrough my surgery, finding the finances for it, my healing, my doctor's skill and knowledge, my family's kindness and for the peace that I have after this major moment in my life. God is good and I give him praise!

?Posting some pictures. I am 6 days post-op.

I feel great, I have not had any pain from surgery. Only the sensation of a sting/burn once or twice a day in the incision when I move wrong or too quickly. My husband has been sick and I have had to take care of the babies at home more than I planned post-op, so I'm on the move often. My back is tired from walking bent over. The only other is thesedrains tubes in my skin, boy do they get sore easily. And it's in a terrible spot- sitting in a soft chair or sofa that folds around me pushes on the drains. So I have to sit on hard surface chairs. I had been taking cloth baths and finally took a real shower yesterday. The first time that I tried a shower, I dropped blood from the incision so I got scared to mess with it too much. Drains come out tomorrow. I'm anxious to hear what Dr. Cox says about the results 1week out.

With my clothes on my belly fat / muffin top hung over my pants but in addition, my belly button sat perfectly in the roll over, that it dimpled- making it look like I had another set of boobs! I did this so that I could get rid of the extra boobs and look better in my clothes. I eventually got past the idea of the scar since I was most concerned with how I looked in my clothes. I am 2 days post-op and I am feeling great considering the type of surgery. The exparel numbing meds have worn off but I still feel no true pain. Just a tuggging from the incision. My binder keeps riding up so I keep pulling at it and that was a mistake. I pulled too much and I also tugged at the incision on my left hip area and feel like I busted it open. It burns now and I'm afraid to shower. I will see how I feel tomorrow about showering. I might be able to take pics then.
