60 Year Old Wants to Tighten Sagging Skin Around Jowls and Neck

I have had my pre op and I am ready for surgery...

I have had my pre op and I am ready for surgery tomorrow. I will be having a lower face lift, CO2 laser and fat grafting. I have fine lines that seem to have become more pronounced in the last year. I have sun damage from years of fun in the sun without protection. Last year I had to have a basal cell removed from the side of my forehead around my eye.

Day one. Pretty painful but able to get some rest. Unfortunately during surgery my restless leg syndrome hit with a vengeance.

If you have option pain killers they should knock out the restless legs. Don't be a hero, they really help.

Much more swollen. Pain is at bay . Taking oxy three dimes per day. Vinegar soaks help quite a bit. Face is soaking up aqufar almost as quickly as Inapply it.

I feel your pain... I just had a neck and face lift... Post 2.5 years laser resurfacing... I have to say the laser resurfacing was by far the WORST of it... Can't imagine doing it all at once.. Good Luck sweetie! I'm sure all will turn out wonderfully!

Not that you care but the day after my laser procedure my mom was rushed to the hospital. I WANTED TO BE with her. So imagine running around post-op laser one day after and going to the hospital every day ... I had no choice.. my surgeon knew about he and took extra precautions because of infection and me staying at the hospital and being in and out, but I think everybody else thought I was the patient.... you should have seen some of the looks I got during those two weeks she was in... ): ugh...

you are a real dear! Your sweet story cheered me up more than you know! I would have don't the same thing! I am feeling a bit freakish. I know I will be glad I had the lower face life and CO2 laser but I am getting concerned about the fat grafting! I feel like I have a moon shaped faced. I love this site though. I can scan through photos that are quite encouraging !

I also use Dr. Weiler and am considering getting the same procedure, he did my upper eyes last year and I'm very pleased. It's between him and a Dr in Ashville, would love to see updated after pictures. Thanks!

I made it. Thee weeks and I am really pleased with my results. I would definitely use Dr. Weiler again.
