Since so many others have shared their stories, I guess it is time for my insight as well. I am 21 years old, no children, 127 lbs, 5'4", and currently a size 34D. I live in La (not LA(:). I have not scheduled my procedure yet, but I will have a breast lift and implants. I have 3 consultations scheduled that I will share with you. They are on Nov. 18, Nov. 26, and Dec.5. I want to have my surgery either in January or March, depending on which doctor I choose and when they have available dates. If any of ya'll have ANY questions, feel free to comment and I'll answer after I go to my consulations. I like the look of the High Profile, but not sure about anything else yet. I'm very excited to get this procedure, and hope it reduces the pain I have when wearing a bathing suit now. =/ I will try and post some before pictures tomorrow. Hope ya'll enjoy following my journey through this!

Good luck to you! I am surprised you need a lift..you look very perky!
November 14, 2013
Well thank you! I'm just not quite as perky as I'd like to be. And the fact that when I wear a good bathing suit from VS, I still get a migraine. I guess they're heavier than they look! =D

Doubt your migraine is from your swim suit... probably hormones.. NEVER have I heard of someone getting a headache from their boobs being too heavy ... back aches yes but I think you are looking for justification for getting an boob job you don't need.... any time you don't REALLY need to get cut on... DON'T!!! My sage advice to you!

It's not necessarily my boobs as it is the strong behind my neck constantly pulling. And strapless isn't an option. I do get migraines other times, but when I pick the strap up off my neck I get instant relief. I'm not looking for jurisdiction either, if I decide to do it, it's because it's what I want. I don't need an excuse for that. Thank you for your input though!

you are very perky, did all three dr's say you needed a lift? What size r u thinking?

I haven't been to any of my 3 consulations yet, the first is this coming Monday. I went to one 8 months ago and was suggested the Benelli.

I'm also surprised you would get a lift

I'm getting more opinions! Because I am far from a professional, and will take the doctors comments into serious consideration. I would be okay with just implants, because of less scarring.

I went to 3 consults and was told that I needed a small lift at each apt... a second opinion always helps

Thanks for the positive comments!

Thank you for all the comments! And I'm not sure if I for sure need a lift yet. I went to a consultation about 8 months ago before I was sure about my decision, and Dr. Hanneman (my 2nd consultation) suggested the Benellie lift. I would love to only get high profile implants, but I'm more concerned with the long-term effect. Will they sag sooner with only implants? Will I need to go back in the future for more work? I just don't want to have to go back after going through one service when it could all be done. These comments are the exact reason I am going to 3 consultations though. I want more than one professional opinion. My first consultation is Monday, the 18th. I am very excited!! It is with Dr. Riley (female doctor). I will update after my consulation. Keep the comments coming please!! =) Thanks for ya'lls input

Good luck on your consults. I too was unsure if I would need a lift or could just get away with implants. Went to 3 consultations. First doctor who was my least favorite said no lift, just implants. Second doctor, who I really liked measured me and said I needed a lift and implants. (First doc never even measured me!) Last doctor, who I also really liked said I could go either way. Talk about confusing!! The last doctor explained it well though. He said that I could get away with implants only an would b happy for a few years but then they would slowly sag and I would b back for the lift. I didn't want to do two different procedures so I decided to do both right away. I am so happy I didn't go with the first doctor. I would have been so upset if I ended up with big saggy boobs! Good luck to u on your upcoming consults. Smart choice in taking your time and interviewing a few docs!
