Hope this helps some of you ladies out there considering explant. Note I still have the steri strips on, they will not come off until my follow up appointment, this Friday. Hopefully I can get out of the post surgery bra, and go buy some new ones : )

Had implants removed yesterday, sure wish I would have done this years ago, the first time it crossed my mind. I feel so free. If you are considering explant, don't wait is my advice. I feel great, a little tired, and this bra they put me in is itchy, but I rather that than the heavy toxic bags. So thankful for this website , and that The Lord provided me the means financially to have the procedure.

Great to hear. So no drains no wrap? Did you have any scar tissue to remove (CC)? I'm the same saline under 350cc . have had mine 19 years going to remove in January. How was local anesthesia?

No drains , no wrap , didn't have CC, my implants were real soft and moved around freely. I guess that's why maybe no wrap? Just this front closure bra. Local anesthesia was a breeze , they have me a Valium to take on the way that am, so I was relaxed , then they did the IV , I did drift off to sleep , but the whole procedure only took 30-35 minutes. I'm so happy I did it, I have seen them totally yet, have peeked, of course they are small but oh what a relief, I can take the bra off tomorrow am and shower, have been taking baths, of course can't get upper body wet : / I feel great so far. Plan on going back to work tomorrow.

This am I was able to take my bra off to shower and get a good look, I was pleasantly surprised, small yes, but all me! :) today was back to work , so I didn't have time for the camera. : /

Wow, you had such wonderful results! I am so happy for you! You and the others here have spurred me into action. I called today and made a consultation appointment with the doctor who did my original surgery about 13-14 years ago. My appointment is on Friday! I am hoping I can get this done really quickly, before next semester starts. (I'm back in school.) Thanks so much for sharing your story!

That is awesome, if they can get you in soon you will be good before next semester. Today is 5 days post-op and I feel great, sometimes to good, but our bodies let us know if we "overdo" ; )
It is nice to be able to wear my button up shirts and not have to have it unbuttoned down to the third button, because of the "pull"
I am so glad my journey has inspired you, you will fell wonderful being back to your "natural" self. : )

Wow it's done, not bad at all. I had appt for 8am, had to be there for 7:15. Performed under local anesthesia , I was home in my bed resting by 9:30. So far so good , God is good. I have slight pain incesion on right breast , but not terrible , doctor said I can take shower tomorrow ,they didn't wrap me just a front closure bra thing, they put on , I'll post pics when I can .
