I've been following this website for a while and everyone's reviews and stories have been SO helpful to me. So, to everyone who has posted one, THANK YOU!! =) It is now my turn to have my procedure done. I haven't scheduled my exact surgery date just yet, but I plan for it to be right around April 18. I am out of college that week, so I will only miss work for a few days. I am going to go to Dr. Stephens in Baton Rouge, La. He suggested to me to go with 360cc and overfill them, but we didn't decide on what to overfill them to yet. I will go with saline implants. A little about me; I am very active, I am 21 almost 22, 5'4", and a size 34C. I am wanting to get more fullness to my boobs, that I don't have now. I am curious to the other girls out there how working out is after implants? I do crossfit now, and know I will have to modify some exercises, but want some personal insight on the active girls out there. Hopefully I will have another update soon when I book my surgery for sure. Please feel free to ask me any questions! =)

Hi, I wanted to comment on the working out part. I haven't noticed any difference in working out with having implants as one doctor said everything we do daily would be totally different with implants. I guess it all depends on the shape of implant you get. Yeah, crazy huh. I didn't know they have different shape implants until my apt. The only thing I do experience with mine are when I cross my arms, it's like I'm still catching myself trying to be careful and rest my arms on top of my boobs rather being normal and placing them underneath. Other than that, that's all I've experienced. I love my boobs now. I actually had my three mth ck up today and when I seen my before pics I was like wow really. Good luck with yours and for advice to think about now, go a size bigger than the size you like bc they will be swollen and they will shrink. You will wish you gotten bigger. I listened to my doctor on that and I now understand bc they swell and you will love the swollen size and then they will shrink and you will tell yourself you liked the swollen size. That's what I did, but I still love my size after the swelling. They look and feel so natural.

Thank you! At my consultation, the doctor told me when I started back working out, I would know what workouts to avoid or only do lightly every now and then because when my chest muscles contract I would notice the difference in the implant.

Congrats on 'joining the club!' (-: I'm 3 weeks today, and today was the first day I did extensive organizing around the house - a lot of bending over, picking things up, etc. I am feeling 'tight' in the breasts, and achy in the shoulders and upper back. I have been a 'three times a week to the gym' and have a physical job 7 days a week, but I still feel that it'll be a week or more until I hit the gym, and even then...lower body workout it will be. Everyone is different though...faster or slower to heal and pain tolerance, etc. Good luck! (-: Hugs

I plan to start back strictly lower body and slowly work back up. I'm trying to build up my chest muscles before my surgery, so when the time comes maybe I won't be AS sore, I know I'll be sore regardless, but I have a high pain tolerance, so hopefully between the 2 I'll be alright.

Well, I don't know how that works...honestly, I was wanting my pec muscles to be all loosy goosy so the muscles might accept the change better! (-; I don't know what the right or wrong thing is, maybe there's nothing 'we' can do before, but it's all up to our Doc doing a good job, then it's up to us to heal good! (?) But really, there's nothing wrong with exercise, that's for sure! (-: Good luck, hugs

Not back to the gym yet.... but have started working out a bit as allowed. Very very happy I did this and with my result. My daughter was your age had hers done 2 yrs ago and very very happy. But we both did silicone and under the muscle. Cant speak to your selection too much, but ours was a good experience.

The main reason I am going saline is because you can overfill saline, helping with the fullness I am wanting. My doctor agreed with that as well. Thanks for the comment!

I've had my boobs for about 13 years and am cosidering going to dr. Stephens now that dr. Nasca has passed away. I went from a b, to a d, had a baby, and then went to a dd. Now they r sagging and nipples are pointing the floor kinda. I didn't massage as I should have either because of the soreness. But I do love them ..
