Today was my one year follow up with Dr Pelletiere. I am still so happy with my decision and results. I'm glad I skipped the lift and the scarring I would have had. I hope these updated pictures help.

They still look fantastic! I absolutely think you made the right decision by holding off on the lift. To me, it doesnt seem like you would notice that big of a difference by doing that!

Dr Pelletiere was actually the first doctor I met with last summer. I really went into his office with an open mind and was hoping I would really like him but he didnt't seem to develop much of a plan for what he would do in my case. I know he is extremely talented and I loved his work so maybe I will consider revisiting with him this year. If you have time, I just posted some updated photos of what I currently look like. Maybe you can tell me what you think.

Thanks for sharing your story! It's nice to have someone to relate to.

I definitely think you should give him another chance. He doesn't go into too much detail in the consult because he just does what he thinks will give you the best results. I would just go with what he recommends. He told me I could always do the lift second if necessary and his prices were less for that as well. I think your breasts have changed a ton in your photos and you definitely may not need a lift anymore. Good luck!

Sorry the pictures aren't the best. I am 4+ months post and couldn't be happier. I am definitely glad I didn't get the lift. My boobs aren't super perky but that makes them look natural instead of fake which is what I wanted. The only thing I wish is that they were slightly closer together but I think going under the musccle may limit the cleavage, I'm not sure. I can create good cleavage with a bra. I am 32DDD at Victoria Secret or a 32DD elsewhere. Sounds big but to put it into perspective its about the same as a 34D or 36C. I am very happy and I am so glad I chose Dr. Pelletiere.

Thanks for sharing your story! You and I seem to be from the same area given the doctor you saw and you have very similar before photos to me. I was also told by 3 doctors I need a lift. Its hard to hear that you need to spend $11,000 to feel yorself again! I am hoping now that i have lost more weight and reshaped my muscle, that almost a year later I may have reversed needing one. Please feel free to share any suggestions you may have when I go to reconsult with doctors.

I am hoping to see one or two docs again to revisit the fact whether I will need a lift or not. Do you feel like the position of your nipple was changed thru the BA? Or would you have chosen to do the lift to elevate the nipples back up further?

I just had my one year follow up today and I am still so happy with my decision not to do the lift. My breasts are not perky but I think that helps them appear more natural. I am going to post a 1 year picture so you can see. I am sure I will need a lift at some point but for right now I'm happy not to have the scars. The nipple position doesn't change but appears higher because the breasts are filled in more. My PS described them as being more empty than truly sagging which is why I was able to skip the lift. I hope this helps.

Welcome to the other side! You look great so soon after surgery. I'm glad you are feeling better. The pain medicine is really helpful, especially the first three or four days. Rest a lot and be kind to yourself. Happy healing. xoxo
