Female Rhinoplasty in Thailand
My head is all over the place. I need to start...
I always promised myself I would get it done before I got married so I could keep these beautiful wedding photos and have a picture of me kissing my husband without me wanting to cry because of how much I haaaaate my side profile. I'm marrying my dream man in May next year, so now is the perfect time to let myself heal first. My future husband is very supportive <3 he knows how much this means to me. I have broken down crying telling him how much it affects me before.
I believe I do have realistic expectations - I think there's no way they could make anything worse, anything they do will be an improvement. More specifically, though, what I am looking for is hump removal, tip reduction... ugh just start again really, I don't even know all the terms, I need literally everything done. It's nice to know the surgeon sees what I see too. Here's a short note from the surgeon:
"After reviewing your assessment information and photos, surgeon notes that you have an overly projected nose with a large hump along the bridge, as well as a bulbous and droopy tip which can be improved by an Open Rhinoplasty"
I have done a lot of research over many years and I've never been thrilled with the Australian doctors I've spoken to or met. Something just wasn't satisfying, especially the Canberra doctors (not for facial surgery for sure!). So I did more research and found some fantastic doctors in Thailand working at amazing facilities. The lower cost doesn't hurt either. And now I'm booked in for surgery overseas. It's terrifying, but it's finally happening.
I don't know whether to celebrate or vomit with stress.
Anyway, here comes some of the hardest parts.... I'm attaching a couple of photos. I was actually thinking of doing a vlog, but I suspect there will be a lot of crying.
Bangkok Rhinoplasty
So I'm a few days post op now, and since hour one I have already been so happy with the changes. I chose my surgeon because of his experience in craniofacial structures, knowing my nose would need so much work they'd have to break my nasal bones.
Dr Seree has been amazing to work with, we definitely see eye to eye and had the same vision. His English is perfect and I'm so glad I chose him over the more "popular" Thai rhinoplasty surgeons. I'm struggling a little with recovery just because of the lack of ability to breathe through my nose. I wake up with a side dry mouth and throat. Also, I just feel greacey and awful. Looking forward to seeing a hairdresser tomorrow to wash my hair. Other than that I'm in no pain and my bruising is really minimal. Check out the photos.
