It's been 2 months now and I'm very disappointed in my surgery. One eye is high and deep and the other had crease failure. On top of that, the uneven epi has given me a very harsh and angry look. Trying not to think about it too much as there is really nothing that can be done right now.

Crease on right eye is still not forming along incision line. More upset about the overcut epi, makes my eyes look way too close and I don't look like myself anymore. Already searching for revision doctor, need to wait at least 6 months to fix :(

I really hope it gets better for you and you are feeling ok. I can relate to what you are going through. I had surgery in Korea 3 weeks ago and my eyelids were too high and one eyelid is higher than the other. The swelling has gone down but they are still higher than I'd prefer and one eyelid is still bigger (2mm). I was SO stressed and depressed and still stressed everyday so I can definitely relate. Has it gotten better?

Hi, I replied last night but I guess it didn't post. Im a little more than 6 weeks post and my eyes are still uneven. My left eye is deep and high (8.5mm) and my left eye is (7mm) but not folding at the crease creating a triple eyelid effect. I think my surgeon didn't properly anchor the eyelid to the levator tendon and I will need revision. It's stressful yes, but like everyone says all we can do is wait. How are your eyes? How high is your crease? High creases take longer to deswell and heal. At 3 weeks I was still very swollen, it has come down quite a bit, but I heard eyelids only start looking normal after 3 months. Don't stress too much, although my eyes are bad I try to think positive and think it could've been worse.. I'm sure your eyes will turn out fine. Maybe post photos and get some doctors opinions. Look forward to hearing from you

Sorry for the late reply. Still trying to figure out how to work this. I didn't see my notifications. How are your eyes now? My eyes are definitely looking less swollen compared to week 3 (I am week 6 now) but still has more swelling to go down. My left eye is still higher but it's not stressing me out as before. I would be extremely happy if my left eye looked like my right but only time will tell. I like my right eye but I have a feeling my left won't end up like my right but as long as more swelling goes down, I could live with it. How are you? Has your eyes gotten better?

Hi, No unfortunately i think my eyes are even more asymmetrical now. My left eye is high and deep but still a little swollen.. my right eye has completely deswelled, but has crease failure... the crease is not folding at all. I've posted a 2 month update. I think a little asymmetry is not bad, is your left eye more swollen? I am almost 9 weeks post and swelling has come down a lot since 6 weeks. Theres nothing we can do at this point but wait. I will definitely need revision, going to give my eyes at least 1 year to heal. :(

My left eye was more swollen. I thought for the first 5 weeks it was because they were sewn unevenly but now over the last few days, it actually pretty even now. Can barely tell it's uneven but both still are swollen slightly. I hope it gets better but if you ever are feeling down and need to chat, message me xx

Epi is still very pulled, eyelid crease is still not forming at the right eye. I hope this is not due to hollowing or a lost of fat.
Been having a hard time coping with the poor decision I made. Lucky to have very supportive people in my life. Currently searching for a epicantoplasty reversal doctor...hoping for the best.
