Wanted conservative 3mm lip lift . Did not need tooth show. Dr was conservative did what I wanted. I'm fresh out post op but very concerned with my right nostril pulling down. Also my facial express ion looks as if I'm smelling something bad. I'm praying this goes away. Swelling and distortion is supposed to only get worse in 3 days. I'm concernced I've never seen any ones nose get this distorted .

I won't say I'm hoping they can fix it if it doesn't go backdown . I don't know this surgeon does great work I just got un lucky.

my nose was distorted. It went away after swelling resolved. Swelling on one side is normal and one side pulled down is also normal. Swollen tissue in between nose and upper lip is normal. If you review my one day post op you will see my nose is swollen to almost double its regular size. You look great for just having this surgery. Try not to stress out on your appearance during this time, as it will change a lot over the next few months. I think healing from this procedure can be very stressful for those who have a lot of swelling, but it gets better.

If you want to feel better look at the picture of what my nose looked like one day post op lol. It looked like I was hit my a mack truck. My nose swelled uneven in the beginning. This is another review that shows how the nose can be pilled down the first few days and how it resolved. Hers is much more lopsided than yours. I'm supposed to this done in Michigan, where I live, next week. I'm nervous about the healing process. I'm a teacher and will be setting up my classroom asap for fall. I think you look awesome for the first day! I'm sure your concerns will subside in time. Hang in there and keep us posted!

Thanks probably swelling ill be 40 in sept. Why I did this. After being told by many dr my nose would collapse if I had a nose job I thought tge lip lift would be less risky and involved oh boy was i wrong lol

This "before" shot shows that your right nostril (camera left) was a little different from the other before the surgery. But yes, I see the distortion and I would absolutely not fret about it at this stage. Make no judgements about your face until the swelling resides. In fact, the worst thing people do post plastic surgery is spend too much time looking in the mirror. If I had iron will, I banish mirrors for 2 weeks. Having said that, I don't have iron will.

May we know what your upper lip measurement was at the beginning?
Did you want more red lip show or just to shorten the distance?

I was 1.7 I wanted to shorten the distance snd have a little more redlip show. I have alot of tooth show to begin so if too much was tsken off I would have a gummy smile. He said I am 1.5 now he wantr d to be careful if I want more I could always have another one .

Yes I agree, your right nostril was a bit different before the surgery, so what you see now is just an exaggeration of your natural nose. It is just swelling. Try not to worry!

Oh dear dear girl......your face was/is most beautiful and simply perfect!!! Nothing wrong with the distance between nose base and upper lip. You look/sound young and you DIDN'T NEED ANY SURGERY WHATSOEVER!!! But now it's done. Okay, your nostrils, as others said here were a little asymmetrical already so if you didn't ask your dr. to correct this, he/she won't. However.... it doesn't show at all. Believe me! I'm the strongest critic when it comes to something wrong in our faces and yours is perfect. Just be patient during healing and then....go enjoy your beauty! :o)

Here is my nose before s nd after . I've seen dozens of people on here this early in the game no one has one nostril this distorted also looks like smelling something bad. My whole facisl ecpression changed . Swellin g ok every one has this but I look lopsided distorted. I have to avoid my family as they are against surgety. They would never let me livevthis down. I really feel something is wrong

Worst luck ever . Everone got beautiful results of course I get this. Please dont say its swelling I'm not even at my peak swelling. Its not the drs fault he is top of his game. I swear I'm cursed
