Not Sure what is going on ..........Is it the embrace scar treatment........
WORTH IT$3,900
After healing pretty much without much problems besides some intense nerve pain during the first two weeks........suddenly at a little over four weeks it looks like I might be starting an infection under the embrace........I took the embrace off for now and covered the incision with gauze and Neosporin and I hope for the best.....if it looks like it is getting worse, I will start an antibiotic.......Is anyone else having similar issues??

Today is one month post op!!!! Yeahhhhh!!!!!
I can't even believe one month has already passed........I just got marching orders to deploy on a work trip to Colombia in two weeks........I work in the medical field and work as a physician for a humanitarian organization.........Well, it will be interesting.......we will fly into Cartagena .......than be on two different buses for a total of nine hours and a small fishing boat for another two hours to get to a very remote area of Colombia.........Of course, once we get there we will work 12 hour days seeing patients with very few breaks in between.......so I better heal for the next two weeks before leaving for Colombia........I am happy at the progress I have been making and I attached some pictures .........The embrace is working and I think the incision is looking great.......however it is not cheap and I had to use three long pieces and two short pieces to cover the entire incision........which means that the $800 supply will only last about for a one month treatment.........and they recommend that you continue for 3-6 months........I have found some alternative silicone sheets on Amazon and perhaps if anyone has used anything that worked, please let me know......I can't wait for final results ......but I am trying to be patient......

Congrats on your deployment! Yes, there are better and cheaper alternatives. Castor Oil is great for healing and so is Manuka Honey from New Zealand. Don't bother getting the strips- you can use the honey straight on the wound.
Wonderful .........where do I order it from a m???
amazon for sure and I think Trader Joes has it...
Scar guard silicone sheets. I've been using them for 1 week and I notice quite a difference in the flatness of the scar. Color is the same but it is definately working! Good luck!
ScarAway works, order from Amazon, or buy the Walgreen's brand silicone sheets. You can cut them to size. At $18/box, much more reasonable! Have used for past 3 surgeries in 2015, including bilateral mastectomy, implant exchange, and abdominoplasty & breast reconstruction revision 12/16/15. Best of luck and safe travels!
You are so brave. I'm about your age and in the middle of separating from a life long relationship. I'm contemplating doing either a TT or smart lipo. But I cannot decide which procedure to choose or whether to do it at all. Does it really matter? Why shouldn't I get the stomach I've always wanted but never got? It's almost like deciding where I'm taking my life next.
I am in the same situation.......after a divorce from a very long relationship, I decided to do something for myself.......to re-invent myself and it was the best decision I have ever made ........I can tell you....go for it and you will not look back.......It has done wonders for my self-esteem and life outlook
Crv10-- I had the same dilemma. Smart lipo vs TT. I you have mainly fat with minimal loose skin and no rectus separation, go for the smart lipo. I posed this same question to the RS docs. Click on my profile to check out their answers. I did the Full TT by the way. Good luck!
Some PS's recommend leaving the embrace on for 10-14 days. They were pretty adherent still when I removed mine at one week. That should save you a few hundred bucks if you can stretch them out. Good luck on your deployment and stay safe!!

3 Weeks Post Op and it just keeps getting better
3 Weeks Post Op and life is getting better every day. I did start to feel some itching around the incision sites which is very annoying but a normal part of the healing process. I am now itching to get back to working out and I have to remind myself that I can't overdo it as I certainly don't want to damage some of the great work done by my PS. So thrilled as the swelling is getting better every day and there is certainly a light at the end of the tunnel :-)
