Stuffing my garment to help lift my hanging stomach
Thought it helpful to post what I did to help lift my belly after surgery...Looks crazy...I actually used 3 Lipo foam ..had not gotten them yet..just had one ...one an board and 2 hand towels rolled...they are placed under the roll to anchor it up...yeah it was strategic and looks crazy..but it worked for me...needed help initially ....had to pay down as depicted..get it all set then stand up and zip..snap lol...(don't do this until maybe 1 week after surgery...but please consult your surgeon) I added the extra foam and an board on my own.
Supplements taken in preparation for surgery
I was told the day I booked my surgery to begin taking a multivitamin and B supplement..I added Vitamin C as well. I found out when my blood work came back that I am a Nemic ...my hemoglobin level was a 10.4 ...they want you to be a 12 or better..they sent me to see a Hematologist who gave the choices of getting iron infusions ...rescheduling my SX 4 to 6 weeks later to take iron supplements until the levels were met...or proceeding with surgery knowing I may need a blood transfusion if the levels drop during Sx. It was 2 or 3 wks before my surgery when I saw the hematologist...I opted to take the iron supplements And take my chances with blood transfusion....he told me to get Feosol...and take 2x a day..which I did..and continued to take after the surgery. I added a picture of what I took. The multivitamin is not pictured..but I switched to onwme without iron..since I was now taking iron directly. Hope this helps????
