Well, I knew this day would eventually come. In, 2001, at the age of 24, I saved up for breast implants. The doctor was great. Implants fabulous! Perfect, actually... BUT HUGE. I had mentor saline implants 625cc and 655cc which catapulted me from a B to a DD cup size. I weighed about 150 so my frame could handle it.

Fast forward 13 years, now 37, and it's time for a baseline mammogram. Some calcifications appeared and they recommended a surgical biopsy. Now at 129 pounds, they had no room to work between my breast tissue and implant. The radiologist punctured my implant putting in a wire that directs the surgeon to the biopsy area. Yup... I'm deflated but biopsy came back with no malignant tissue detected.

I had been wanting my implants removed for quite a few years because they are enormous. I had extremely saggy small breasts before implants so I have to prepare myself for hanging skin and loose breast tissue. It's a personal choice that I have made to postpone getting smaller implants and a lift. I'm saving for a down payment for another house and I just wanna feel free!

I hear that simple saline explantation under local can be very inexpensive. I couldn't find any doctors in the southern New Jersey area with reasonable fees. I found A doctors in Baltimore who would do it for $1,000. SOLD!
Surgery is 1/13/15!

Hi, I have 630cc implants since 2009. How do you feel after having them explanted? My surgery is scheduled for 4-7-15. It's been a really tough decision to explant for me. I am 53, 175lbs. I was a 38B before implants and am a 38D/DD now. I really nervous about what I will look like after they are out. Physically, I can't WAIT to be rid of them!! Mentally, I've been so torn.
