I've wanted a BA since I was a teenager and finally decided to do it.
I am currently 5 weeks post-op and I couldn't be happier. My experience from the consultation to surgery day to post-op has been wonderful all around. My doctor asked me to show him pictures of the "look" I wanted and even though I still have some dropping and fluffing yet to go, I can already see them looking more and more like the photo I showed him.

Hey there, and welcome! Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. Congratulations! Do you know the size and brand of your implants?
I'm currently 3 months post-op and they're fantastic.
Thanks for sharing the extra details :) Do you feel confident enough to add some photos to your review?
Thank you! If you had to give one piece of good advice to someone who was about to undergo the same procedure, what would it be?
The second is two parts - the first is pretty obvious. Go to a surgeon who's been in practice for a long time who has a good record of handling cases of all shapes, sizes, nationalities and patient needs. Also one who's anesthesiologist has a good record as well. They will likely be in the higher price range, but this is your body and they will be putting you to sleep, cutting you open, putting things inside you and closing you up. They may even run into problems while you're in the operating room and a good, experienced surgeon will know how to fix them and a good, experienced anesthesiologist will know how to maintain your anesthesia during all of that.
The second part of that is to make sure you feel good about your surgeon, their facility and their team. If your consultation leaves you doubting them in any way, consult with another one. You need to trust not only your surgeon but all of the working parts of the machine that will make this happen for you.
Bring in photos of the look you want. A good, experienced surgeon will know A: if that look will work for your body type and B: how to achieve that look. You can want a specific cup size but realize that for the look you want, you would be a different size. I thought I wanted to be a C-cup and that anything bigger would look awful on me. It turns out, that for the look I wanted, it just so happened that I've ended up being a DD. And it looks great on me. I'm proportionate, they don't look fake and they look almost exactly like the photos I showed my surgeon and I'm only three months post-op.
There's a ton more I could advise, but I'd say these things are the most important.
This is an awesome response :) Thank you so much for sharing!
