After seeing another doctor, I was informed that the procedure Dr. Rodriguez performed on me is considered a "blind procedure." Most doctors don't use the transauxillary approach because they aren't AS able to get accurate results. He also told me that the reasons for Dr. Rodriguez using this approach (to avoid incision site migrating up on the breast) is unlikey to happen. I contacted Dr. Roriguez's office to let them know I would be transferring to a different doctor, and it was like all of a sudden the office cared about my case. They offered to drop his fees (he was originally going to charge me $500 for his time on top of the anesthesia fees) and practically begged me to come in and talk to him. I let them know that I was uncomfortable with his approach and that I had already made up my mind to go elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE. I had an awful experience at this office and with the staff.

I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Rodriquez and I am extremely dissatisfied with the results. I left his surgery suite very uneven, and he told me to wear a strap over the higher breast to push it down. I did that for 3 months, but it did not help. I got opinions from other doctors (online and in person) and they collectively agreed that the surgery was performed sloppily; the pocket dissection was uneven.

So sorry this happened to you; I had to wear a strap to for my right breast about 2 years ago because it never dropped; my ps had me wear it for 3 months and my breast only dropped a tiny bit; he inventually had to perform a revision surgery on me while I was awake; he just deaden the area he operated on and I tell you it was very painful; I cried all the way through; he had to opened my pocket up while the implant was still in there and loosen the pocket up; than the implant dropped; you will probably need to go to another docter since you are dissatifoed with your previous surgeon; I recently had another revision surgery to increase breast size and its Been 5 weeks since than; I liv my results.

Well I hope by talking to Dr. Rodriguez, he will make the situation better. Any good doctor would. But if not, I already have another doctor lined up :)

When I had revision surgery for my ps to opened the pocket he only charged me $500; which isn't bad; it took my ps 1hr to opened the pocket;it was an inoffice. Procedure; you should keep calling your ps; because he will probably give you a discount; another Dr is going to charge you more;

Oh I am so sorry this has happened to you . I'm sure your dr will do a revision . But if you don't trust him now I would go to someone else . Did he have you on muscle relaxers ? That's what mine had me taking to relax my muscles so I could start to drop.

Oh he will do a revision, but he is trying to charge me for something else. He doesn't admit that its his fault, when clearly, it is... I never asked him to be perfect but admitting his wrong doing goes a long way in terms of trust. He didn't have me on muscle relaxers or tell me to massage it or anything, just the strap.

Mine never had me massage . I wonder if muscle relaxers would help at this point

Thank you for sharing your story! Sorry to hear about your disappointing results. I can see why you feel dissatisfied. I looked at your profile and the photos you posted there don't seem to show as much of a discrepancy with your right breast. How many months post op are you now? Is the right breast dropping even a bit? Is your doctor agreeing to do a revision for a discounted price? Take care and keep us posted!

I am 6 months post op and the right breast still sits much higher which makes the nipples very uneven. Dr. Rodriguez did agree to fix it, but he was going to charge me for his time which I did not agree with. After speaking with other doctors, I also didn't agree with his approach and made a decision to go elsewhere for my revision.

Oh, I'm so sorry you have to pay again and go through another surgery. . I think you're so smart to get another opinion. Do you have a date set for your revision? Hopefully there will be very little down time for you. Hang in there and keep us posted!
