Yesterday was my SURGERY DAY! I have gained so...

Yesterday was my SURGERY DAY! I have gained so much insight from realself.com over the past 2 years that I guess I want to "pay it forward".
I had a BA and lipo on my inner and outer thighs, stomach and hips with Dr. Cohen. I have always wanted to do this, but just couldn't justify spending the money pre-kids as my breasts were fine, just not proportionate to my 5'9" 155#, size 8 frame. However, each time I was pregnant, I knew before a pregnant test came back positive because my breasts would start swelling and they NEVER STOPPED until after I stopped breastfeeding. I would go from a 34C to a 40G gaining over 50 lbs each time! So needless to say after the up and down of the two pregnancies, my [RS bleep] (and hips, thighs & stomach) were ruined :-)
As far as the lipo, my thighs have been a source of embarrassment for me since I was a teenager. Even though I was thin, I had big thighs and cellulite from the time I was 13. I remember hating to walk down to the water at the beach bc of it. (Of course, I would give anything now to have my teenage thighs back, but I digress!) I have the saddle-bag-things on the side of my thighs and my inner thighs rub together—they have for as long as I can remember, even at my lowest adult weight (140). I also have a little bit of chub below my belly button since having kids that he removed.
I cannot WAIT to see how everything turned out! I have peeked at my boobs, but haven't taken the bra off. I have my first follow up appointment tomorrow and then I"ll be cleared to take everything off so I can shower! Whoohoo!

I went for my first follow up today and was given the go-ahead to remove my garment and shower at home...just finished...felt great! I am still really uncomfortable, but definitely better than the evening and first day after surgery. I also got to peek at the results. The places where lipo was done are the exact same size (I'm guessing that is because of the swelling), but there is significant bruising at all Lipo sites. Also, although I love the size of my implants, I don't like how far apart they are. I'm not going to sweat it yet though, because I know it takes time for the implants to settle...I just don't want them to settle further down and out. I'm doing Breast stretching exercises to move them in and keeping my fingers crossed.

Congratulations! I'm having my BA with Dr. Cohen in June and I'm very nervous! You look great so far, please continue to update as you progress :)

I just posted an update. Don't be nervous! As you know, Dr. Cohen is the best and the recovery is a piece of cake (especially if the BA is all you are doing)!

I have been meaning to post updated pics. My implants have dropped some, but still have more to go. I'm pretty happy with how they look, but realize that they aren't in their "final spot" which is good, because they're a little uneven. I also have mondors cords (2-3 under each breast) that are really uncomfortable. I'm really hoping they go away soon! Does anyone know if they pose any potential problems in the future such as a higher incidence of nerve damage/sensitivity, "double bubble" or capsular contracture?
Hi there, and welcome! Thanks so much for sharing your story with us. I hope you're happy with your results, and it would be great if you could write an update for us soon! Good luck :)
