I have always battled with my weight from my teenage years. My first child was 6 months when I fell pregnant again and then post natal depression occurred which meant a lot of comfort eating. I had a really bad time before my post-natal depression was diagnosed (2years later). I saw a photo of myself which was my kick on the rear to do something about it! That was 20 years ago, and although I have see-sawed with my weight some since then, I have managed to keep it off and am now the weight I was when I was 15. However, after all my hard work, I still couldn't look at myself naked! My sister encouraged me to have a consultation with a cosmetic surgeon in regards to removing the loose skin from my stomach. I thought long and hard about it, and decided I would regret not going for the TT. I had my surgery one week ago and do not regret it. I dont know how it looks yet, I have an appointment with my surgeon next Monday and am getting a little anxious that it won't be the success I had hoped for. Any words of encouragement??

Would do it again in a heartbeat!
In spite of the fact that there were no words of encouragement, I am back! Had my first sight of my tummy yesterday and I am very, very pleased with the result even though it has only been 2 weeks! (I will be posting photos in a couple of days). It is really gone - the stomach I have hated for so long and even though there still is fluid, it looks miles better than it did. For those who are debating going for a TT, if ur experience is like mine, u will have nothing to worry about! I took arnica capsules from a week before surgery and my briusing is almost gone, I took pain medication for about 10 days, and now I'm moving with great ease! I have also been walking a mile 3 times a day! If u would like to see my before and after pics, comment here! :) Thank you!
