I had my surgery on 2/7 ill be 4weeks PO on Friday. I like most of you did not like my body. I'm not gonna say I was the biggest but I def lost my shape and I always had a flat butt. I heard about this place in Philly called body arts & science center and I'm gonna tell you what I really think...
I chose dr.Dimario because supposedly he sculpts your shape and knows ethnic body types. The office manager Janet also boasts him on how she sent him to Brazil to learn how to do the procedures the exact same way. So with hearing that, seeing a few pics, and the price I was sold.
B4 my surgery I was given the basic pre-op info and meds. The day of my surgery I was able to talk to Dimario again as he was marking up my body. He asked me what kind of butt I wanted natural or Brazilian - I like the heart shape so I asked for Brazilian then as he was talking to his assistant he mentioned that he will put in about 600cc's. So as I said I want a big butt- I'm tall and I have very thick Legs and I said well I want at least 800! He basically dismissed me and said no i would not look natural... To me I didn't care about that I had a flat butt all my life , it's actually the point in my eyes.
Before I could kick and scream i was being laid on the table and put to sleep. Woke back up I was getting in a wheelchair.
I got lipo on upper and lower abs, flanks, middle back and lower back above my butt and I got the fat transfer to my butt. After it was said and done my butt looked basically the same just a little fuller...
I ended finding out that I got 700cc in 1 cheek and 750cc in the other because my ass was lop sided naturally.
So the 1st 2 days of recovery were the worst for me. All I wanted to do was sleep and take a pain pill. I was in a stage 1 faja and stuffed with padding (diapers & pads that they tell you to bring) I'm only laying on my stomach and getting up every 2-3 hours to walk and pee.
Now when you go to body arts they also include 20 post op sessions with your price. So the 1st level is the drainage massages. With this they lay on a table - reopen your lower incisions with a q-tip and squeeze, rub, massage or whatever to drain the fluid out of your body (they don't use drains). I went on my 3rd day post op and all I can recommend is to take 2 pain pills on your way there! It's intense but you get thru it.
They also keep you compressed with your garmet and diaper packing. Just sore and right but after the drainage massage you actually feel better and less stiff!
You'll go thru this for about a week to 2 depending on your body. I only had to do a week. Next they give you these radio frequency ultrasound that is supposed to melt fat or something too. I really don't know what it does and the woman there don't really speak English and they can't even tell you what the heck it's for!
But I will say this by my 3rd week I can say that my sides look 100% better and my stomach is flat just a few lumps and hardness but when the swelling goes down I have no doubt that they will smooth out also but I'm really not happy about my butt. I was expecting a nice round full big butt. I'm almost 4weeks po and my butt looks full on the top and semi full on the bottom and completely flat in the middle! I raised my concern and they keep telling me it takes 6weeks to drop then it will fill out- I can't see it! I'm 4weeks already and it's only looking flatter! I feel like crying I feel like I paid for this and I should at least be happy! Then they are telling me that they have a butt plumper machine that will help fluff and lift it too... Idfk what to do or if I should just look into a revision... Not to mention my butt is fuller on the right side and the left has no volume whatsoever!
