Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Frustrated

I'm still frustrated and feeling more and more unhappy with my results. There is a very bad unnatural crease when you look at my profile. My butt appears very large and flat. I'm still waiting to see if I can get a revision or to have this redone. I still haven't heard anything from the office to fix this. I literally feel disfigured.

9 month update ????

I've been very frustrated lately as far as my results. I feel as if my butt has deflated a lot. I don't really feel as if I have very much projection. It's just really frustrating because a couple of months out from surgery, I was very happy. I'm not sure if my fat necrosis caused many of my fat cells to dissipate or not. I have contacted the office with my frustrations. I am patiently waiting for a date for a revision that will hopefully make me feel better about my body. I'm really hoping they call soon. It's really hard to see your body change for the worst post op.

I had my surgery in December 23rd of 2015. I do...

I had my surgery in December 23rd of 2015. I do have another review on real self under crose1011, but I was unable to update my doctor after I switched to Dr. Salz. I met with Jovanna who is a patient coordinator at Dr. Salz's office on November 6 of 2015. I was pushing for a date in December of the same year. After hearing from others that they were booked out until 2017, I still was not discouraged. I was told by the coordinator that if I had cash payment, she would be able to put me in for that December.
On the surgery day, I made it out pretty well. I had the help from my mom which was great.
Post op day one was extremely difficult for me. My face was swollen from sleeping on my stomach. The nurse came in to change my garment and she instructed me on how I can sleep in a more comfortable position.
At about two months out, it seemed that I had an infection as well as an issue with my hips. My left hip was very warm and hard. The hip had become extremely dark and shiny. It also began to get lumpy. I was given antibiotics and the area had loosened up.
In April I noticed a sore spot on my left hip that I needed to see the doctor about. He confirmed that I was experiencing fat necrosis. He used a syringe to extract the fat that had died. This did leave me with a bit of a depression on my left butt check and my right hip. I was scheduled to come back a month later to check on my results.
On my appointment date, I arrived on time and was brought into an exam room. I waited for about 45 min. I had to leave as my parking meter ran out. No one came in to check on me or to update me as far as when the doctor would be in. I ended up having to leave and I refused to put more money in the meter after having been at work all day and driven all the way to the office. I do live about 15 miles from the office.
Fast forward about a month later, and it was a repeat of the same thing. I haven't been back to the office because I cannot just stop by just to sit there all day. The appointments should be scheduled at times when the doctor is not in surgery. I do understand that the doctor is busy, but it is also important for them to respect the time of others.
I do still have depressions in my butt cheek and on my hip. I haven't stopped into the office or called because I became extremely frustrated. I do plan on reaching out to either the doctor or the office for some sort of assistance.

The doctor is a really good person. He seems to be very knowledgeable. Social media and other ventures do seem to be his primary concern. I am not sure if he focuses enough on his patients as he does on his social media following. He is overall a good doctor, but he could be better if he focuses more on each of his patients.
