Hello ladies! Monday was the first time I started sitting on the bobby pillow and driving, beside the time when the nurse from Dr. Salzhauer came to check on me the day after the surgery. At 6 weeks I feel much better. Occasionally my body itches and my lower back, lower stomach, and sides are still sore and sensitive, that should be expected.

10 weeks post
It's been a few weeks since I updated sorry I've been busy w kids and hubby. From what I can see in the mirror so far it doesn't seems the booty went down. I ask my hubby all the time, how does it look? did it go down? He always reply no it's fine. I think I look better in some clothes, not in tight dresses. Because my stomach haven't gone all the way down. Still have some swelling. About 2 weeks ago I spoke to Dr. Salzhauer's nurse, she said it's still early and everyone body is different and some people it takes longer for the swelling to go down. I'm crossing my fingers. I do like my shape and my butt, looking at it from the back, not the sides.
Because I don't have the projection I wanted. I did tell and showed Doc I wanted projection and a big butt, not huge, but a nice size. I showed him two pics the day of the surgery. One pic of a girl w projection and the other pic of a girl's butt facing the camera. I didn't want my butt to be exactly like the girls, I showed him the pics so he would have an idea what I wanted. He said yes he would. Compare to what I had before, I guess you can say it's big. I'm going to post my before pics so you guys can see the difference.
When I sit on something that's low to the ground or lay on my back or sides, as I'm getting up, my lower back and sides feel like they are being stretched. This should probably last up to 6 months. I'll ask doc at my next post op appt.

Your doctor was very skilled! I'm looking forward to my consultation on Monday with Andrew Jimerson here in Atlanta. This is my Christmas present to myself!

Let me rewind a little!
I had my bbl in July. One week after, I had my first post op appt. My husband drove me, I laid on my stomach in the back of the car. I didn't want to sit on the bobby pillow, even though doc told me I could. We got there in about 30 minutes. We don't live far from the office. I didn't have to wait long before I was seen by doc. His assistant helped me take off my garment. She said sometimes when taking off the garment for the first time, some people get light headed. She cuts out the foam that he had put under my garment after surgery. She took some pics of me. He came in and checked me. He said I was healing nicely. He told to buy another garment. He said spanx is good. She showed me where to put the foams, one on the left side of my stomach, one on the right side, this was to mold a six pack. The other foam on my lower back, Touching my butt crack, it was shape like a v. It was to help mold my lower back. She helped me put on the other garment I brought with me that they gave me the day of the procedure. So when I got home, I went online I saw Macys and JCPenney sold them. I like the one at macys better. That week I went to Macys and bought one. I didn't have it ship to me cause It would take too long. I was only 1 week post op, I didn't think I needed another one now cause the one I already had wasn't getting loose. Since he thought I needed a new one, I bought it.
