GOING INTO SURGERY Waited around for doc to come...
Waited around for doc to come see me. He walked in and said "All the way from Washington state!" and shook my hand. He was just as I hoped, very friendly, knowledgeable, made me feel immediately comfortable. When I was explaining what I was looking for he just "got it."
Anesthesiologist looked at me from front and said very matter of fact that I will have great results which was nice to hear. Miriam was an absolute dream to wake up with in the recovery room. Very attentive, caring. We chatted and laughed and she said "You can come back here for surgery anytime!"
DAY 1
Recovery has been easier than I thought. Not painful, more like extreme soreness/discomfort. Little things take a lot of effort. Cannot stand very long or walk very far. You will be very dependent on who is taking care of you so make sure you choose wisely! Lol.
They came to take more pictures. Took garment off for first time and I am already thrilled with the results. There is tons of swelling but I can see my shape underneath that. Can't wait to see results in a few more days. Pics coming soon!

Hi guys!!! Hope you all are having a wonderful Saturday. I'm 20 years old, going from Seattle to Miami to see Dr. Salzhauer. I'm leaving in 3 days. I'm really excited but can't believe I'm actually going through with this!! 2013 has been a year of changes but I'm ready for it! :]

I'm a little stressed. My boyfriend and I are currently on a break so not having his support is tough. I told him I was getting it done and all he said was "Okay". I was like can't you at least pretend to be interested/supportive? It's stressing me out but I'm trying to just be excited. Oh well, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do right? Things will be fine between us, the timing just sucks.
Anyone have advice on things to bring??
