Dr. Salzhauer for BBL & Breast Augmentation - Just the Beginning! - Bal Harbour, FL

I'd love to have some input from fellow members! =) I've finally decided on Dr. Salzhauer for the procedure! If you are still researching and wondering about responsiveness, let me say in comparison that I was originally going to go with Dr. Salama, and within a day of contacting them, he and his representative replied with full analysis and details and even followed up with me after the emails. Both office's staff are very nice, but in stark contrast, Dr. Salzhauer's office took two days to respond to me via email following my initial inquiry, I replied the same day, but here I am about a week later still waiting for an actual analysis and quote for the procedures. Maybe Dr. Salzhauer is more busy or popular, or maybe their office is just slower in dealing with and responding to potential patients? What were your experiences?

Ultimately though, I've decided that Dr. Salzhauer is the best choice for me, despite this grievance of not being able to get in contact with him very quickly (I'm an out-of-town patient). Dr. Salama has some great work, but given the stories and reports I've read of with women being left with burns from the BBL procedure and their skin disfigured -- I just don't want to take that kind of risk. Especially since it sounds like they left that girl to deal with the bills and recovery from his scarring on her own (she's on RealSelf - search 150mmlover). Dr. Salzhauer, on the other hand, has a clean surgical record with BBL and breast augmentations, so I feel more comfortable going with him. Not to mention that the total cost for the two procedures (probably 7000 and 5000) I want from him, is nearly what one BBL would cost with Dr. Salama.

I'm in the very, very beginning stages at the moment. Still saving up, getting the date right,...getting a response from the doctor lol I'll update with more details after I get the doctor's response. From the reviews, he seems very knowledgeable about the procedures and like he truly cares about the patient's results.

Has anyone else experienced this slow (or maybe I'm just impatient lol) response time from Dr. Salzhauer's office? How long did it take for you to receive a reply? Also, what implants are best in terms of feeling and looking the most natural - saline or silicone? I was going to go with saline, since if they burst they're easily absorbed into the body, but I can't decide since I want the best look.

It's so funny! Literally right after sending this review in to RealSelf yesterday (it takes about a day for them to confirm it), I received a reply from his rep and the doctor personally about my inquiry. Dr. Salzhauer is so kind! He seems very sincere, and like he wants to help you achieve the best results -- definitely not like he's only after your money. He asked several questions about what I'm wanting out of each procedure. I do have to send in more pictures though, which I figured I might because the lighting in the pictures I sent wasn't very bright, but I'm feeling really comfortable so far.
