How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Are you thinking about booking surgery? Read this!

Surgery is n amazing thing but it's so important to do your research properly. Seeing some big bums on social media done by one person does not mean that that doctor is safe and right for you. I saw two posts today that I decided to repost as pics hope the ladies don't mind but I feel like this topic is hardly spoken about yet the most important. Safety ! Safety!

Ladies I just don't understand why some people risk their lives for a big bum , don't get me wrong by type of surgery is a risk however going to a surgeon with more risks than others is not the way to go. This is ur body and your Heath DO NOT jus pick a surgeon because they are cheaper tha everyone else. There must be a reason right?! Also, look into any malpractice cases, deaths and reasons for the deaths of their patients as its not always the doctors fault. Also infection rate ! Some countries you are 60 percent more likely to get an infection. Some "surgeons" aren't even plastic surgeons some te just doctors in other specialties.

Would you let your foot doctor do your heart surgery ?

I get it sometimes money and the doctors requirements can put us off, however please make sure you are aware of everything with that doctor , follow up appts? In the event you have complications are they connected to. Hospital ? If you need a revision is it free is it reduced price ? ALSO what I didn't realise myself is how expensive this thing is...

Despite the actual surgery price you need to think of flights , accommodation (which is usually more than a hotel as you need to book a nurse to look after you a few days or stay in a recovery house if you are going alone), post op massages are around 50 USD each and they recommend a minimum of 10! Some doctors don't recommend them (I think personally it's ) because they don't want to accept liability over referring you to go somewhere but trust me you will be lumpy Lisa without them. Without massages you stay swollen for longer, you are at a higher risk of seromas and fibrosis developing. I'm no doctor however I've done a lot of research on this and seem ladies suffer because they didn't start massages in the or they didn't wear there faja all the time. Faja! They Cary in price but I believe it starts around 70!dollars each on average in America. Countries like Dr and Colombia I know it's cheaper.

Compression garment that will be your besty, although you get one or two from your ps you are required to live in this for months so when u wash them you going to want one to put on and also different ones as you might want a different one to wear out in the evenings. Boppy pillows , blood builders as you need your iron levels to be over a Certain amount for Sx this also can reduce the likeliness that you will need a blood transfusion. Arnica bromelain pads etc.

It's a lot to deal with you will have ppl trying to put you off and maybe not the best support system from tech people in life you would've hoped. But to end this essay I wish you all the best and please do your research properly for which doctor works well with people with your pre body. It's a draining journey, but apparently is worth it. :)
