Just as I said above, they were too heavy. And for being 5'2", made my body look way out of proportion. I had implants 9 years ago, and with weight going up and down (mostly up), they got bigger, heavier, and the areolas, which were already huge, got 'huger'. The doctor that did my reduction is the same that did my implants.
9 weeks post-op now. And even though everyone tells me it will get better, I'm still depressed. Aside from wanting smaller breasts again, the huge areolas i've had since my first pregnancy 37 yrs ago and was always ashamed for anyone to see. That's why I am now freaking out about the size. I was glad to see Payman Danielpour, MD's reply. I didn't know that if they don't turn out the way I want that they can be 'fixed' under local anesthesia. I decided I would post a before picture so you can see where I was at 9 weeks ago. (also, the cost was $8200, but I was given $1000 discount)

How can they fix them?

I don't know. He didn't elaborate. I'd like to find out though since I know my areolas will not match. I haven't asked my doctor about that problem yet, but he did tell me that if my right breast doesn't come down to the size of my left, he'll do liposuction.

I will do that! hopefully it won't come down to that... but I probably have to wait another 2-1/2 months for my doctor to make that decision. (and hopefully I won't have to pay for it)

scars are healing good. The size has not changed at all. (right side and right areola bigger). The left areola is still healing. Have a doctors appointment in 4 weeks. it will be the same. 'It takes time'
I'm so frustrated, I'm over it. (I just want them to match!)

going under the knife again!

5 months post-op, not one thing has changed. I'm still a D on my right and a C on my left. The areola is twice the size as my left one. Going back to the doc on March 2 to discuss my 're-do'. He isn't charging me. I'm sure he didn't do anything wrong. My right side has always been bigger, but the thought that my body just healed that way? What will stop it from healing that way again? pretty nervous.
I will post before and after pictures when I have surgery again.
