my belly almost closed up. i was cleaning my belly with alcohol at first lol oops....wasn't suppose to. so, just two days ago my surgeon told me to put a marble in my belly. i was like um hello a qtip will barely fit what makes you think a marble will fit lol
well, it worked lol
I'm wearing a compression garment.
i was treating my scar with brown tape BUT that brown tape irritated my skin so right now i'm not using anything. i'm going to wait until next week to ask my doctor what i can use.

i'd post pictures of my progression but i'm pretty hard on myself and i feel i don't look like everyone else. i feel pretty yucky .

I know its hard but you really can't get discouraged at this point at how you are looking. Healing takes such weird phases. But don't feel any pressure to post pics if you aren't comfortable. I think things will start looking better for you know that you are not using the alcohol and the tape isn't irritating. I just keep the scar gel on my incision and that keeps it moist. It is healing really well- all closed up and now I just am waiting for it to lighten up and "disappear" . You look amazing- chin up!!

I was gonna get 550 cc to cuz the doctor said that was the max but my hubby thought that they were going to look to big but no I wanted to do 650cc it's so true what they say that that you should go bigger but o well lol I would like to redo them lol yes that brown tape suck I hated change it my hubby would help my take it off and put on back lol I was the same way with the itchiness but I tried my best not to scratch ..my bra size before surgery was 34c but they look like flat pancakes cuz after having my last two kids my boobs got really flat lol and now I'm 34ddd for victoria secrets but I don't think they look big at all... everyone say they are lol my hubby loves them he says they are big lol and they look really nice but I don't I feel like my right one I was gonna post pics but never had the guts to but pics up lol don't get me wrong dr barnes did amazing job but I just wish he would've listen to me how I really wanted my boobs cuz when I take him my wish pic he was all they look like that cuz they are wearing push bras then he all just wear push bras so they look like that :/ the whole point of getting big is to stop wearing padded push bras rights lol

Omg dr Barnes told me the SAME thing about the push up bra crazzzy! I know I'm tired of push up bras lol I had the bombshell bra that added two cup sizes. I felt two inches of padding lol I'll write more tonight. I hate writing from my phone.

My kids know not to jump around me. My one year old almost did. I got scared lol but yes I feel like a turtle on its back. Lol

Yes! Drain is out! And as soon as my mom left I went to lunch at a friends house. Sat the whole time but now I'm kicking myself that I did too much. I hope I wasn't stupid. I feel swollen but I'm not sure because the wrap is on tight. My dr said I'm doing great! He made it so easy and the after care is a breeze. All my stitches are dissolvable! I promise to sit on my butt for the rest of the the week!

God is my witness when u tell you I've had no pain with it. I expected to feel burning...but nothing. The only thing I don't like Is having to carry this nasty looking drain with me everywhere. I hate it lol
I kid you not on a scale of 1-10 my pain level hasn't even been a 1.
It is uncomfortable however but I can deal with that! I wish I was able to clean thoroughly and carry my kids. I miss that so much!!!!

That's awesome!!! I have been back and forth with the decision for 22 years now! And honestly being on this website didn't help,so many horror stories. I told my husband last week no way! He was upset because he knows how I hate my belly so much! So I have to thank you so very much!! I am back to yes let's do it!

As far as my eating habits go... I'll be honest. I'm a lover of food. I can out eat my husband at a buffet. That's the reason why I got the mommy make over lol
Well I had to drop some weight before I got the surgery. The doctor didn't tell me I know I needed to.
Get a few compression garments for sure. There's this post surgery garment I bought. Waste of money only because my husband ripped off the tag. It wasn't the correct size. It's a medium but it really a size Small. The garment that I bought wouldn't been perfect. It had a bottom latch (that's what I call it) it unlatches so you can go "potty"
It was $110.
The brand is called Mandy but I'm sure you can find one one Amazon.
I'm still shocked at how easy this surgery was. Don't get me wrong you'll feel discomfort but that's going to be because of the garments and binder that you have to wear. On a scale of 1-10 my pain wasn't even a 1. My surgeon did an awesome job.

Make sure you get straws.
I will say this it'll feel like you did thousands of push ups. You'll feel sore but it's better than feeling pain right?? :)
